OBOR Management is a Cambodia-licensed fund management company (regulated by the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia, SERC). Together with Oxfam, and with grant support from Convergence Blended Finance (DFAT), OBOR is establishing EquiGreen - a blended-finance impact fund investing in climate-resilient, gender-responsive SMEs across Cambodia, Indonesia and Timor-Leste (with Thailand, and Vietnam under review). Target fund size USD 30M.

We are hiring an Investment Senior Analyst to be the analytical engine of the fund set-up: financial modelling, fundraising support, investor and pipeline databases as well investment Due Diligences and monitoring.

Position Summary

Remuneration: Indicative ~USD 2,500/month, commensurate with experience

Employer: OBOR Management Co., Ltd (OBOR payroll — full-time employee)

Location: Phnom Penh (Cambodia) · some regional travel

Reports to: Managing Partner (Christophe Forsinetti)

Works with: Investment Manager (Chanmali Liv) and Operations Manager (Rémi Uk)

Start date: Early to mid-September 2026 (first deliverables due on 30 September 2026)

Duration: Initial engagement through fund set-up and first close, with the intent to continue post-close

Purpose of the role: Build and maintain the fund’s financial model, own the fundraising tracker and the investor and pipeline databases, and produce the investment memoranda and due-diligence outputs that move companies through the investment process — directly supporting the fund’s path to a first close.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Financial modelling & legal structuring
  • Build and maintain the fund financial model — base / downside / severe scenarios, sensitivities, waterfall mechanics, IRR by tranche, cash-flow and fees.
  • Support capital-stack design and term-sheet mechanics; run investor-feedback scenarios.
  • Support legal structuring and SERC registration process.
  • Fundraising & investor relations
  • Own the fundraising tracker: target investors by type, tranche fit, geography, stage and ticket size.
  • Build and maintain the investor database; investor profiling, segmentation and outreach materials.
  • Support roadshows and investor meetings (materials, follow-ups, data-room readiness).
  • Pipeline, memos & due diligence
  • Co-build and maintain the investor & pipeline database (jointly owned with the Managing Partner).
  • Prepare investment memoranda (target 15+ companies over the mandate) and due-diligence reports for companies reaching Investment Committee review.
  • Coordinate pipeline data with the Investment Manager and external market/pipeline consultants.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Fluent
  • Khmer is preferred
  • Indonesian is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, business or related
Work History:
  • Venture capital, private equity, impact investing, corporate finance or investment banking for 3 to 5 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Strong financial-modelling skills (advanced Excel); comfort with fund economics, IRR/MOIC, waterfalls.
  • Southeast Asia experience (Cambodia and/or Indonesia an advantage).
  • Familiarity with blended finance, SAFE / convertible instruments, and fund structures.
  • Exposure to impact/ESG standards (IRIS+, 2X Criteria) and to data-room / CRM tools.
  • Command of both spoken and written English and Khmer
Soft Skills
  • Rigorous, structured, evidence-driven; able to work independently against deadlines.
