REPORT TO: WH Supervisor
Job summary:
This position is to manage inventory level to ensure enough stock for our daily operation in own warehouse, check and reconcile to ensure no deviation between SAP and physical stock, guide and train picker team to ensure our stock is followed FEFO, verify stock take, know how to optimize own warehouse for cost efficiency and in line with safety rule and provide timely inventory report to management and stakeholders for making better decision.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records through regular checks, audits, and reconciliation.
- Receiving and Dispatching: Manage the receipt of incoming goods, inspection, storage, and dispatch of products.
- Inventory Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize excess stock.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products in the inventory meet quality standards and are stored properly.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies for management review.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Controller or similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording inventory data.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to address inventory issues promptly.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM) would be a plus.
