Functions / Key Results Expected
Internship under PMU, and the overall supervision of the Deputy Project Manager / Project Manager of MoE.
TECHNICAL FOCUS
Under the overall supervision of the General Directorate of Natural Protected Areas, the PMU’s Operation and Finance Officer, Project CamAdapt team Ministry of Environment, Phnom Penh, and in close collaboration with CamAdapt PMU. FinA, international and national consultants, he/she will be responsible for the overall operation, finance and compliance role supports to the project.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The interns will support the effective, timely, and smooth implementation of CamAdapt project activities, particularly as field-level implementation intensifies. The positions aim to strengthen coordination, technical support, and administrative follow-up within the respective ministries.
SUPERVISION AND REPORTING
The interns will report directly to the designated focal points within GDANCP/MOE and will work closely with the CamAdapt Project Management Unit (PMU).
- Support coordination of project activities at national and sub-national levels;
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, consultations, and field missions;
- Support data collection, compilation, and preliminary analysis related to project indicators;
- Assist in drafting reports, meeting minutes, and technical documents in Khmer and English;
- Support communication and coordination between line ministries, local authorities, and stakeholders;
- Participate in field visits to coastal provinces to support implementation and monitoring activities;
- Provide general administrative and logistical support as required for project implementation.

- Other necessary support in accordance with project and FAO regulations.
- Khmer - Fluent
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in natural resource management, climate change, environmental science, conservation, fisheries, forestry, or related fields.
- Experience working in or originating from coastal provinces is considered an asset;
- Proficiency in Khmer and English (spoken and written);
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet research).
- Strong interest in climate change adaptation, coastal management, and environmental governance;
- Good communication and coordination skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
