International Program Supervisor (3 Positions)

Position Summary

Job Purpose/Summary

The International Program Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in the academic and operational functioning of the school. This role ensures the successful implementation of curriculum, supports teacher development, oversees student academic progress, manages academic operations, and liaises with stakeholders including parents, teachers, and school leadership. The Academic Supervisor also leads initiatives related to staff training, child protection, risk management, and school-wide reporting.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Academic Leadership
  • Lead the implementation of the school’s curriculum aligned with PSIS International Curriculum with its standards.
  • Develop and monitor the school calendar, ensuring full execution of academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Support and supervise high-quality teaching practices through:
  • Oversee teaching plan
  • Regular classroom observations
  • Conducting and Coordinating teacher mentoring programs
  • Organizing teacher professional development sessions
  • Assist in the teacher award selection process based on performance and innovation.
  • Provide training and orientation for new and existing teachers who need support.
  • Lead and coordinate Monthly Educational Technical Meetings
  • Student Learning & Academic Support
  • Monitor and evaluate student learning outcomes through structured assessments, progress tracking, and feedback.
  • Identify students needing academic support and organize extra classes or remedial programs for slow learners.
  • Promote inclusive learning environments that foster academic excellence for all students.
  • Ensure timely preparation and review of student academic reports and performance analysis.
  • Academic Operations & Administration
  • Coordinate all academic scheduling, including timetables, exams, and activities.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of academic staff and ensure adherence to the school’s strategic plan.
  • Participate in teacher recruitment, onboarding, and evaluations.
  • Prepare and manage academic documents such as teacher evaluations, performance summaries, and student reports.
  • Support the technical preparation of curriculum documents, assessment tools, and reporting systems.
  • Marketing and Public Engagement
  • Represent the academic department during school marketing events, open houses, and public presentations.
  • Support academic storytelling and student achievement promotion through school media and events.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Lead and facilitate communication between teachers and parents on academic matters.
  • Resolve concerns from parents and teachers professionally and in alignment with school policy.
  • Coordinate and lead parent-teacher conferences and academic meetings.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between the academic team, the principal, and school stakeholders.
  • Emergency Response & Child Protection
  • Implement and maintain the Risk Management Plan for academic environments.
  • Respond to academic-related crisis situations on a case-by-case basis (e.g. disciplinary, welfare, performance concerns).
  • Deliver training to teachers on Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct, ensuring understanding and compliance with safety protocols.

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in education (required), Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or related field (preferred)

Position Summary

Position Title: Local Homeroom Teacher (Primary Level)

Reporting line: IP Supervisor

Department: Academic Affairs / International Program

Job Purpose/Summary

The Local Homeroom Teacher in the International Program is responsible for teaching Khmer language, culture, and values aligned with the national curriculum, adapted for an international bilingual learning environment. The role emphasizes supporting holistic development through academic instruction, moral guidance, social interaction, and effective communication with parents and staff.

Scope of Work

  • Deliver Khmer language and culture lessons tailored for bilingual learners.
  • Ensure effective lesson planning, student assessment, and classroom management.
  • Provide pastoral care and maintain discipline and well-being of homeroom students.
  • Collaborate with international staff to integrate Khmer perspectives into the broader curriculum.
  • Support school-wide events, student development, and extracurricular activities.

Position Summary

Position Title: IFL Teacher

Reporting line: IP / IFL Supervisor

Department: English Program

The Teacher of English is responsible for delivering effective and engaging English language instruction to students at various grade levels. The teacher should plan lessons that promote all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), foster critical thinking, and create an inclusive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment. The teacher is expected to monitor student progress, communicate with parents, and actively participate in school events and professional development.
