Contract duration: The total input under this contract would be intermittently 160 working days over 4 years starting from quarter 1 of 2026 to March 2029.
The SBJ Project is now inviting eligible individual consultant for the position of International Consultant for the Labor Market Information System (LMIS) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultant should provide information demonstrating that s/he has the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria of qualification and experiences for the International Consultant for the Labor Market Information System (LMIS) are following:
- Master's Degree in in economics; PhD is desirable.
- At least of experience in labor market analysis for 10 years
- Excellent knowledge of international labor market information systems and issues, in particular labor market intelligence.
- Experience in conducting surveys, including questionnaire design; survey supervision; and conducting and/or supervising data checks and data cleaning.
- Proven experience in econometrics and applied economics, including microeconomic data analysis, statistical methods, and economic modeling.
- Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and interpret labor market trends with an in-depth understanding of labor market dynamics, employment policies, and economic indicators.
- Strong attention to producing user-friendly LMI outputs for the general public; attention to different communication channels and uses of the LMI outputs (by career or job counselors; directly by students and jobseekers; by training institutions; by policymakers; etc)
- Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Also, an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral; ability to build and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders, particularly government officers at all level.
