The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has received a Loan of USD 36.3 million from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to finance the “Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders Project (AIMS)” Project, funded under IFAD Loan No. 20000001751, and fund contribution from the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC). The Private Sector (including beneficiaries and private businesses) is co-financing the project with an estimated combined total project costs of USD 61.6 million. The Financing Agreement was signed on 28 February 2017 and became effective on the same date. The Project Completion Date is 31 March 2023 and the Financing Closing Date is 30 September 2023. The Project goal is to enhance prosperity of Cambodian smallholder farmers through increasingly profitable links to agri-businesses and markets, with intermediate objective to increase returns from farming for smallholders, including poorer farmers and youth, through efficient public sector investment.

The internal audit (Consultant) assignment is to review the financial and procurement operations and performance of the project to ensure that the Program’s systems and internal control are operating satisfactorily, funds are being used effectively and efficiently and for the purposes they have been provided and to provide AIMS/PMO management with timely information on the financial and procurement operations and performance to enable the management to take timely corrective actions, wherever necessary.
Department of International Cooperation (DICO) is the Project Management Office (PMO) to recruit Internal Audit Consultant (Individual Consultant) that will be stationed in the Department of International Corporation and is expected to work on 100 working days over 1 year as remittent.
