Inspector - Commodity Inspections
We are seeking an experienced Inspector to join our Commodity Inspections team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sampling, inspection, and supervision of different commodities. - Conduct inspections of commodities, including agricultural products, minerals, and other goods, to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Perform sampling and testing of commodities to determine quality and quantity.
- Supervise loading and unloading operations to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including photographic documentation, and submit them to clients and management.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to address any issues or concerns related to inspections.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and related activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commodity inspection or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, sampling methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
