The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), founded in 1895, is a global conservation organization with a mission to save wildlife and wild places around the world. WCS's goal is to conserve the world's largest wild places in 15 priority regions, home to more than 50 percent of the world's biodiversity. We currently manage about 500 conservation projects in more than 60 countries.

WCS has been working in partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia since 1999, providing technical advice and support for the conservation of key habitats and species throughout the country.

The WCS Cambodia Program is expanding and seeking qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Position Summary

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Basic
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Environment, Administration and other related fields
Work History:
  • Working experiences with communities and especially Indigenous Peoples Communities for 1 year as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Skills and Knowledge: Used to administrative work situations (cash advance, settlement principle). Interest in biodiversity conservation and/or climate change.
  • Language: Basic English skills and high standard of writing in Khmer language. Bunong or Kui language skills are an advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Field Adaptability:Able and willing to travel to the field in remote areas.
  • Interpersonal Attributes:Able to manage their time effectively and across different tasks
