Job Summary
The Import Clearance Executive is responsible for handling all import customs clearance activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, timely clearance of goods, and accurate preparation of import documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process import customs clearance documents including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, permits, and related certificates
- Coordinate with Customs authorities, brokers, and government agencies for import clearance
- Ensure all import shipments comply with local customs laws and regulations
- Follow up on customs inspections, duties, taxes, and release of cargo
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and warehouses
- Monitor shipment status and resolve clearance issues or delays
- Maintain accurate records and filing of import documentation
- Support audits and internal compliance checks
- Provide timely updates to customers and internal teams

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in import clearance or customs brokerage (preferred)
- Good knowledge of customs procedures and import regulations
- Familiar with customs systems and documentation processes
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Good command of English
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Email
