About the Position
The ICT Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging computer and digital literacy lessons to students, while also supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures students gain practical digital skills aligned with current technological needs, and internal teams receive effective technical support to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
This position reports to Scholarship for Higher Education & Learning Center Coordinator for workload management and Performance Planning and Review (PPR). Under the guidance of and in cooperation with the Coordinator, the ICT Teacher will:
- Teaching and Curriculum Teaching and Curriculum Delivery
- Provide dynamic weekly ICT classes include Microsoft Office, Photos & Video editing, and coding to Learning Center participants that connect to our Youth Empowerment and English courses
- Manage the Computer Lab in the PEPY Learning Center by recording sign in and out sheet, maintenance
- Maintain the Future is Bright Computer Library by managing check-ins and check-outs and seeking additional training material
- Regularly hold feedback and discussions with students to change and adapt the class content
- Maintain and update classroom materials and tools by checking them regularly and bringing on new learning materials as needed. This is inclusive of the computers, server, and other tech items
- Check list computer equipment and captures statistical reporting information
- Conduct individual meeting with students to provide them feedback for learning improvement
- Reporting to donors and superiors on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis by updating and maintaining the projects M&E and narrative documents
- Create annual activity and budget plan according to the reflection report
- Revise ICT curriculum and keep it up-to-date
- Attending meeting with PEPY staff and line manager regularly
- IT Operations and Support
- Provide technical support to staff (hardware, software, network, printers, etc.).
- Maintain and troubleshoot computer equipment and ensure availability and functionality.
- Coordinate minor repairs, updates, and system backups.
- Support the installation and configuration of new devices and software.
- Assist with inventory tracking and documentation of IT assets.
- Support IT needs during training, workshops, and events.

- Individual with a completed Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), and having related skills to technology, or project management.
- Some teaching experience in any subject either in a school, NGO, or youth program
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, basic hardware troubleshooting, and networking.
- An individual eager to learn and initiate their own studies in ICT training and courses to improve youth’s learning
- An individual that believes that ICT literacy and capacity is one of the most important skills youth need to succeed in the current job market
- A person who is highly organized and able to manage their own schedule and identify new project opportunities
- English Proficiency: Minimum English level of Intermediate and must be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
