- ASSIGNMENT CONTEXT
- Under the direct supervision of the ICT Ofcer, the ICT Associate will undertake the following tasks:
- Perform specialized ICT application administration to ensure system functionality, usability, and efective user experience.
- Analyze business and functional requirements, conduct data analysis, and develop functional specifcations for new systems, dashboards, and enhancements to existing applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support management decision-making, using data from multiple sources.
- Support the development, customization, testing, debugging, and implementation of new applications and systems, including automation of ofce workfows using Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Excel).
- Identify system vulnerabilities and required security patches; prioritize, evaluate, test, and apply relevant updates in coordination with ICT standards.
- Provide second-level Help Desk support for ICT systems and applications, including troubleshooting, user access management, security profles, and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Assess user training needs and deliver structured and ad hoc training sessions on ICT systems, dashboards, and digital workfows.
- Provide ICT support for conferences, meetings, and meeting room technologies.
- Assist in the planning and management of specialized ICT projects, particularly those related to digital transformation, data analytics, dashboard development, and system automation.
- Prepare periodic, ad hoc, and management reports, including ICT performance metrics and ICT asset/inventory reports.
- TASK DESCRIPTION
- Support emergency preparedness and response by maintaining the KHM Emergency Portal (SharePoint and Microsoft Teams), ensuring up-to-date content, secure access, and efective collaboration.
- Provide ICT support during emergency activations, including rapid setup of communication tools, dashboards, and information-sharing platforms.
- Coordinate with programme, operations, and inter-agency counterparts to support data collection, reporting, and information management needs during emergencies.
- Support greening ICT initiatives by promoting digital workfows, reducing paper-based processes, and optimizing the use of Microsoft 365 tools.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with UNICEF/UN ICT security policies, data protection standards, and business continuity requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of ICT services by documenting lessons learned and proposing enhancements based on user feedback and operational needs.

- Bachelor's Degree in Advanced Microsoft Excel, mobile application development, data analysis, dashboard development, and digital workfow automation using Microsoft 365 (O365), including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Required relevant experience for 1 year
- Experience in providing ICT Help Desk and end-user support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (O365) administration and support, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Experience in developing and maintaining digital solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate (Flow).
- Experience in advanced Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Experience in dashboard development and data analysis, including the use of Power BI and data from multiple sources.
- Experience or exposure to mobile application development and support is an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and user guides.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efectively in a multicultural and team-oriented environment.
- Solid computer literacy and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines.
