I-WASH Project Manager
ARD is seeking qualified candidate with a few years of NGOs working experiences to fulfil the positions of I-WASH Project Manager for above project based in Phnom Penh, and regularly traveling to target province. Below is description of role and responsibilities of the position:
Key role and responsibilities
The Project Manager will be playing important role to overall I-WASH project management under direct supervision of Deputy Director and/or Executive Director.
- S/he will perform day to day works with specific duties as describe below:
- Overall management and technical supervision to I-WASH project field staff to ensure the project implementation is to warding the achievement of I-WASH project objectives, approaches and outcomes delivery against donors’ financial agreement;
- Take lead in project planning and budgeting (monthly, quarterly, semester and annually) based on requirement from donors’ financial agreement and/or ARD management team;
- Coordinate and taking a lead among project staff to produce the project progress report (annual report, quarterly report, and monthly report) and other ah-hoc up-to-date report in English and/or Khmer based on donors, government ministries/agencies, and ARD management team requirements;
- Provide supervision and support project staff to overcome the key challenges and solutions by using participatory approach;
- Strengthening and/orientation project staff capacity on the project implementation, project approach, progress reports writing, minute of meetings, project filling system and documentations;
- Overall support and quality assurance on administration and financial affairs at the project level including project budget plan, budget advance request, advance clearance with properly support documents, and procurement process,
- Conducing regularly project monitoring and spot checking the field staff performance to ensure the project is implementing successfully and effectively in line with project annual work plan, timeframe and donor agreement particularly toward the achievement of I-WASH project goal and objectives;
- Assist ARD Management Committees to provide inputs for new proposal formulation and fundraising strategy for sustainable organization development;
- Play role as an ARD representative base on designate from the ARD’ Executive Director and/or Deputy Director to participate in any meetings or trainings/workshops with donors and other stakeholder
- Perform other tasks as requires from DED/ED of ARD.
- At least graduated bachelor decree with three years professional work experiences with NGOs and other institutions related to poorest community development, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), public health care, socio-economic development, capacity building, rural water resource management, self-help group, village development committee, etc.
- Good at project cycle management (PCM), project coordination, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis and report writing, networking and communication skills;
- Good at problem solving, highly commitments, and able to work with local community particularly people who are living in remote area;
- Good at communication, negotiation, and documentation and ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
- Good experiences on Ms. Offices (Word, Excel, Power Point) project data analysis and project progress report writing in English and Khmer;
- Ability and willingness to travel to and work in remote areas.
