Human Resource and Administration Manager
POSITION PURPOSE
You will provide human resources support for a staff of around 40 people. You will also oversee the administrative requirements of the organization.
As a member of the senior Management Team you will provide input into strategic and managerial decisions made on behalf of the whole organization. You will have a team of 4 people reporting to you.
Reports to : Executive Director
- Human Resources Management
- Recruitment and selection:
- Manage the recruitment and selection process including job advertisements, position descriptions, manager interviewer training and coaching, preparation of employment contracts, offer negotiation and reference checks
- Employee lifecycle:
- Induction and onboarding, performance reviews, grievance procedures, performance management, exit management.
- Monitor employee health and well-being through the development of employee workplace safety, health and well-being initiatives.
- Training and development:
- Work with the management team to develop and implement training and personal development programs.
- Remuneration and benefits:
- Keep abreast of salary trends and manage the remuneration review process.
- HR administration:
- Develop, review and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies, Cambodian Labor Law and all individual benefits
- Provide the Senior Management Group, Managers and staff with comprehensive, professional HR advice including contract interpretation
- Administration
- General Administration:
- Assess and monitor the insurance requirements of WMC and arrage appropriate cover.
- Ensure workplace cleaning, safety and security
- Ensure WMC vehicles are maintained and insured and authorize petrol use
- Maintain records of policy documents, contract documents and correspondence
- Procurement:
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and guidelines
- Prepare service contracts as necessary
- Asset Management:
- Supervise Asset Register maintenance in accordance with WMC’s Finance Policy and ensure procedures are followed when disposing of assets
- Management:
- As a member of the senior Management Team, provide input into strategic and managerial decisions made on behalf of the whole organization;
- Provide guidance and supervision to Admin & HR unit staff
- REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management.
- At least 5 year-experience in human resources management.
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects and drive initiatives.
- Knowledge and experience in employment legislation, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, safety, employee engagement and development
- Ability to develop effective working relationships and demonstrate collaborative approaches with a broad range of stakeholders
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Khmer.
