HR Executive
Working Hours: 7.30AM-5.00PM, Mon-Fri
Supervision: Under direct supervision of HR & Admin Manager
Role Description:
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing human resources functions to support the smooth operation of BLUEBIRD BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. This role includes handling recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, learning and development, and various HR administrative tasks. The HR Executive will assist HR and Admin Manager on tasks as the described below:
- Recruitment & Selection
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and issuing job offers.
- Liaise with department heads to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment support.
- Maintain an up-to-date applicant tracking system and recruitment database.
- Organize job fairs, internship programs, and recruitment marketing activities.
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage onboarding process: employment contracts, orientation programs, document collection, and system setup.
- Coordinate offboarding procedures: exit interviews, clearance processes, and final payments.
- Ensure smooth transition and employee experience at entry and exit.
- Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues.
- Support conflict resolution and handle disciplinary actions in compliance with company policy and labor law.
- Promote positive employee engagement and communication across departments.
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs and help implement internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records and track effectiveness of learning initiatives.
- Support performance improvement and career development plans.
- Performance Management
- Assist in implementing performance appraisal cycles and tracking KPIs.
- Guide managers and employees on performance improvement processes.
- Monitor probation evaluations and goal setting.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Support payroll process by providing documents of staff movements to Accounting team
- Support benefits administration such as insurance, bonuses, and allowances.
- Ensure accurate and timely salary payments and statutory contributions (e.g., NSSF, tax on salary).
- Compliance & Labor Law
- Ensure compliance with Cambodian labor laws, internal policies, and government regulations.
- Maintain proper records for contracts, permits, NSSF, and work permits (for foreign staff).
- Liaise with government bodies (MLVT, NSSF, GDT) for relevant filings and inspections.
- HR Administration & Reporting
- Generate HR reports: headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.
- Support audits and provide data to management as required.
- HR Management System
- Control staff information, attendance records, leave management, staff movement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 year of working experience in the specific field, preferably in an educational or international setting.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems, payroll processing, and employee benefits administration.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Honest, highly responsible, and reliable
- Good computer literacy (Internet and E-mail, Ms. Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good at communication skills and self-motivated
- Good integrity, positive attitude, helpful, high commitment, competence, and motivation
- Good in English (Writing, Speaking, listening)
Teaching Assistant

Supervision: Under direct supervision of Head of Teacher Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our early years and primary education programs at Bluebird British International School.
This role involves working closely with teachers to foster an engaging and nurturing learning environment for young students from diverse cultural backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Classroom Support:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed, helping with tasks such as reading, writing, and basic math.
- Supervise and engage students during classroom activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials iincluding worksheet, homework, art and craft materials and exam paper
- Help with classroom organization and tidiness to ensure safe and healthy learning environment.
- Student Care:
- Assist students during meal times, support students with toileting needs, including helping with restroom routines, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring that students are comfortable and clean.
- Monitor students’ progress and behavior, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning experience.
- Help manage classroom behavior and address any issues fast and effectively.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, encouraging positive interactions and self-confidence.
- Assist in organizing and participating in school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the lead teacher or school administration.
- Education: High School Graduate to Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team, and proficiency in classroom management techniques.
- Average English proficiency is acceptable. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students and staff is important.
