To support our business growth in Cambodia, we are now looking for a Human Resources and Admin Manager/Senior Manager (1 position) to work in the Phnom Penh Office. Candidates with less work experience would be considered as Human Resources and Admin Executive.

Duties
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Business, Management, Human Resources, Psychology and related disciplines
  • At least 6 years of work experience in Office Admin & Human Resources (both Staff Acquisition and Staff Retention)
  • With pleasing and bubbly personality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to do multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and within the team
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, at ease with both local and international audience e.g. good English and Khmer language skills – speaking, reading and writing)

Requirements
  • To be the main ambassador of talent management of the company in terms of talent acquisition and retention
  • To manage/supervise the Admin & Talent Management Department of the company (with 5 direct reports)
  • To manage the Admin & Talent Management Department on
  • General administrative and secretarial services to the staff as required so that the business and management tasks undertaken by the staff are as efficient as possible and so that any relevant deadlines are meet
  • Distribute various forms of communication (memos, documents, reports and other materials) to IRL staff, IRL offices, IRL clients and suppliers as directed by the Managing Director from time to time.
  • Arrange business visas, visa extensions, and other documentations related to IRL foreign staff to ensure that these processes run smoothly and the appropriate records remain up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensure general maintenance of the building (overall cleanliness, status of air conditioners, F&B supply, etc.)
  • Order office supplies to ensure that these are always sufficient for office operations.
  • Maintain HR System especially updation of staff personal information and reconcile staff leaves
  • Arrange to set up phone number, business cards for new staff and as required by the Managing Director
  • Maintain employee files to comply with Cambodian Labor Law such as NSSF, Staff Work Permit, Physical Check…etc.
  • Point of contact for staff related matters and government liaison to advise SMT of any internal issue or external issue regarding the labor laws or other compliance matters.
  • Recruit new staff and arrange induction plan for new staff
  • Manage and prepare staff payroll using the HR system and NSSF monthly payment
  • Coordinate and implement Performance Management System of IRL, compensation and other staff benefits
  • Help manage and execute HR & Admin policies and procedure, and Staff Handbook policies
  • Maintain, update and implement staff development and training plans
  • Organize staff activities like staff retreat, staff birthday, staff new year party and other parties as required by Managing Director
  • Lead the monitoring of internal metrics (Performance Management System, Project Satisfaction Score)
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director

To support our growth in Cambodia, we are now looking for (Senior) Research Executive, in our Phnom Penh Office. Candidates with less experience or recent grads are encouraged to apply and will be considered as Research Executive.

Duties
  • Assist in client liaison: This entails taking client briefs and interacting with clients about quotes and projects from setup through the presentation of outcomes;
  • Assistance with the proposal, project management, and deliverables preparation:
  • prepare project budgets, costs, and timelines based on customer and internal talks;
  • assist in the preparation and translation of fieldwork materials (such as screeners, questionnaires, and stimulus materials) from English to Khmer and vice versa;
  • collaborate closely with project employees (Fieldwork, Quality Control, and Data Management), sub-contractors, and management to plan and arrange work for research projects (including validation of fieldwork data);
  • inform Client Management Group and customers of any concerns that may delay project completion, and explore viable solutions;
  • make satisfactory research reports (storytelling, properly organized, correct information & analytical comments and interpretations) and present to Business Unit Head for evaluation before client delivery date;
  • churn data using SPSS and other statistical applications for use as research data or to contribute to the study results tale;
  • Assistance in Business Development Initiatives of the Business Unit
  • attend client/prospect meetings with RMs/SRMs.
  • find new customers to grow the business (can be done via email or calls)
  • promote Indochina Research within Cambodian networks to improve its reputation and proportion of commercial research investment in Cambodia.
  • Compliance with Administrative Guidelines and Procedures
  • Keep accurate project spending records to comply with Indochina Research finance administration procedures
  • Compliantly draft and finalize relevant administrative paperwork within stipulated times.
Requirements
  • Obtain BA in related fields
  • Has at least three (3) years of experience conducting market research projects
  • Has a strong ability to pick up new techniques and develop market research skills
  • Has excellent listening and communication abilities in both English and Khmer – spoken and written
  • Has good project management skills
  • Self-aware, self-driven, confident, and is good at critical thinking
  • Knowledge of basic software applications such as SPSS, Qualtrics, SurveyToGo, Ruby, video editing, and Photoshop is advantageous.
