Clear Cambodia is a Christian local NGO that has been implementing the projects under the aim of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). The mission is to transform water quality, sanitation and health in target communities by making appropriate technology and education accessible to all. All of the work is done in collaboration with community leaders and local authorities. Clear Cambodia is currently implementing its projects in eleven provinces such as Battambang, Tboung Khmum, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Kampong Thom, Kampong Speu, Siem Reap, Kratie, Stung Treng, Pursat, and Ratanakiri. Holistic Transformation Coordinator

Position Circumstances

Position Summary
  • Primary reporting line will be to the Support Program Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with provincial project staff to coordinate holistic transformation activities within WASH projects.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, monitoring, and implementation of holistic transformation activities that strengthen community participation, local partnerships, and sustainable community development.
  • Coordinate field-based activities, including engaging and supporting church partners, facilitating training, planning and monitoring activities, and collaborating with local leaders and community-based organizations to promote sustainable community development.
  • Coordinate values-based fellowship and reflection activities that encourage personal faith, mutual support, and a positive organizational culture, contributing to the overall well-being of staff.
  • Collaborate with project teams and local church partners to integrate community engagement and holistic transformation activities into WASH project implementation.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local leaders, church partners, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen community participation and support sustainable, community-led development.
  • Facilitate capacity-building activities for local pastors, church partners, and community stakeholders to enhance leadership, community engagement, and the sustainability of project outcomes.
  • Coordinate community engagement activities within WASH project communities to promote positive values, hope, healthy relationships, and inclusive participation.
  • Engage local leaders, including pastors and Christian community members, to ensure their active involvement in project activities and community development initiatives.
  • Facilitate the formation and strengthening of community groups that promote mutual learning, care, and participation.
  • Strengthen community networks with local leaders and faith-based partners to support long-term sustainability.
  • Promote local ownership of community initiatives to ensure sustainability beyond the project period.
  • Coordinate closely with project staff to ensure holistic transformation activities are effectively integrated with WASH interventions.
  • Monitor implementation progress and document lessons learned, success stories, community outcomes, and the growth of community-based groups, including home fellowship groups.
  • Prepare regular reports on community engagement and holistic transformation results, including trainings conducted with communities, and opportunities created for Gospel sharing through WASH-related activities.
  • Coordinate staff engagement and reflection activities that strengthen the organization's values-based culture.
  • Support activities that promote teamwork, integrity, respect, compassion, and servant leadership among staff.
  • Assist management in organizing staff learning, reflective sessions, and well-being initiatives.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good is required
  • Khmer - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Community Development, Theology, or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Mature personal faith and demonstrated values-based leadership in community or organizational settings.
  • Experience in church or community leadership roles is preferred.
  • Additional training in community development, leadership, facilitation, or related areas is an advantage.
  • Functional proficiency in English (speaking and understanding required).

WASH Technical Coordinator

Position Summary

Primary reporting line will be to the Provincial Project Team Leader.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The WASH Technical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the technical quality, coordination, and effective implementation of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) activities within WinS and WinC projects.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards by providing guidance on the design, construction, and implementation of water systems, sanitation facilities, and hygiene interventions in line with organizational standards, national guidelines.
  • Monitor project progress, support capacity building of staff and communities, contribute to reporting, and address technical challenges to ensure the quality and sustainability of WASH services.
  • Provide training on operation and maintenance of WASH facilities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular coordination and communication with key stakeholders, including school directors, commune and village authorities, Churches, PDRD, DoEYS, Finance and Administration departments, teachers, and other relevant partners.
  • Conduct technical assessments, site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies for WASH infrastructure.
  • Support project planning and technical design processes for WASH interventions.
  • Assist in improving the design of WASH infrastructure, including boreholes, wells, water piped systems, storage tanks, latrines, bathing shelters, handwashing stations, drainage systems, and solid waste facilities.
  • Assist in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
  • Support site assessments and site selection in accordance with project criteria.
  • Monitor the construction and rehabilitation of water and sanitation facilities to ensure compliance with approved designs and technical standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance and regular site inspections throughout the implementation process.
  • Oversee contractor performance, construction progress, and adherence to timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards across multiple sites.
  • Inspect key construction stages from foundation works through to project completion.
  • Address technical issues on-site and verify completed works prior to handover.
  • Ensure proper installation of biosand filters in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure installation activities are completed on schedule and implemented smoothly.
  • Collect water samples for testing and quality assurance purposes.
  • Take photos of construction progress, including site activities, signboards, and key project stages, in accordance with donor requirements.
  • Train communities and committees on operation and maintenance (O&M) procedures for WASH facilities.
  • Support troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of WASH facilities.
  • Assist in developing simple O&M guidance for each facility and train community water committees on basic repairs, pump operation, and sanitation maintenance.
  • Promote sustainability of WASH facilities through preventive maintenance practices.
  • Support the procurement of construction materials and equipment.
  • Participate in evaluation of construction contractors.
  • Ensure timely preparation and processing of payment documents for contractors.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
  • Document technical progress, site conditions, and implementation challenges.
  • Prepare technical reports, including progress updates, recommendations, and supporting documentation such as photos, site inspection forms, and completion certificates.
  • Contribute to donor reports by providing accurate data on construction outputs and beneficiary numbers.
  • Support the implementation of baseline and endline surveys in accordance with donor requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Rural Development, or related technical fields.
Work History:
  • WASH infrastructure, construction supervision, or water supply systems for 2 years as a minimum

Technical Drawing and Graphic Design Intern

Position Summary

Report directly to the Communication Officer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support in technical layouts drawing, site plans, and visual presentations for WASH facilities and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Develop illustrations, infographics, and visualizations to communicate technical WASH concepts to communities, partners, and donors.
  • Design communication materials, including posters, brochures, flyers, banners, factsheets, reports, and other print and digital products.
  • Create social media graphics, digital content, and campaign materials that align with the organization's branding and communication strategy.
  • Edit photographs, illustrations, icons, and other graphic elements for publications, presentations, and online platforms.
  • Assist in documenting project activities through visual content and graphic design for reports, presentations, and knowledge-sharing materials.
  • Support awareness campaigns and behavior change communication activities related to water, sanitation, hygiene, and environmental health if required.
  • Perform other graphic design and communication-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
