Health and Physical Education Teacher
Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - Our school’s Taekwondo program has been temporarily closed for five years. We are looking for an adventurous and energetic Taekwondo teacher to help us develop the program again from scratch in Kep and Kampot provinces.
- Our school system also has an aquatics program and a table tennis program, and candidates who additionally have skills in either of those sports can also work on developing and teaching in those programs.
- Candidates are welcome to apply as general primary homeroom teachers at our school if they have additional skill in teaching Taekwondo, swimming, or table tennis.
- A passion for developing quality physical education programs in rural and remote communities.
- Demonstrated successful prior teaching experience.
- Ability to achieve a high level of program organization.
- Professional knowledge of Taekwondo, martial arts, swimming, or table tennis.
- Commitment to continued professional development and achieving international child safety standards.
- Excellent health and attendance at school.
- High level of personal energy and enthusiasm.
- Reliable individual with the ability to consistently arrive to school on time.
- Strong sense of adventure with the ability to thrive in a rural seaside community that has fewer resources available compared to the city.
- Exceptional multicultural and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team teaching a diverse group of students and working with a diverse group of parents.
- The candidate must be currently inside the nation of Cambodia and must possess a visa and work permit.
- First responder skills such as first aid, CPR, or medical experience.
