Position Summary

Heads of School (various disciplines)

Heads are academic leaders who have academic, administrative, quality assurance and fiscal responsibilities for a school. Currently we are looking for Heads of school in Accounting, Tourism and Hospitality disciplines:

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the setup and daily operations of an academic school, covering the management of programs, lecturers, students and classroom administration.
  • Provide strong leadership to the school staff and teaching faculty.
  • Supervise and train the teaching faculty on EAMU’s Way of teaching, smooth conduct of classes, assessments and activities to support good academic performance
  • Manage the proper record of student attendance, conduct and performance to achieve maximum progressions and completion of courses.
  • Manage the activities of both pre- and post- stages of each teaching semester, including course planning, resources management and class scheduling
  • Develop and collaborate with local businesses and communities for enhancements of our programmes, including establishing internships and career opportunities.
  • Set up the specialised training centres and conduct training to support the academic courses so that our students gain practical skills to make them employment ready.
  • Teach to understand the learning environment of our students and faculty so as to adopt initiatives to enhance their learning experience.
  • Develop initiatives and execute proactive actions to enhance the academic QA.
  • Liaise with the local MoEYS for compliance, approval and adjustments of existing and delivery of new courses.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in / A Doctorate in the relevant fields. – Hospitality, Tourism, Accounting and Finance.
Work History:
  • At least experience as Head of academic school at the university level for 3 years
  • At least of professional experience in related industry for 5 to 10 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Strong work ethics, responsible and a passion for teaching.
  • Strong network of teaching and research faculty
  • Possess good computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
Soft Skills
  • Fluent in English. You are expected to communicate daily in English
  • Highly competent in teaching pedagogy and assessment methods.
 
 

Director of Student Affairs

Position Summary

The Director of Student Affairs is responsible for providing strategic vision and operational leadership to overseeing student well-being, engagement, academic support, and conduct, with a particular focus on building a robust career development ecosystem. In addition, the Director will drive initiatives that connect students with internships, industry training, career readiness programs and ultimately employment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the development and delivery of student engagement through clubs, leadership development, student government, and campus events.
  • Oversee student support services, including counseling partnerships, accessibility support, and well-being initiatives.
  • Oversee academic success initiatives such as tutoring, mentoring, and first-year experience programs in collaboration with Academic Affairs.
  • Lead the student conduct process, promoting an educational and restorative approach.
  • Provide oversight and direction for residence life services.
  • Support essential international student services, including integration and advising.
  • Lead and supervise the development and delivery of the university’s career development, employability, and work placement programs.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with outstanding firms in their fields to create internship, work placement, and job placement opportunities.
  • Oversee career readiness training, including professional skills workshops, coaching, and job preparation support.
  • Oversee and execute sponsorship program for scholarships to support student enrolment and progression.
  • Supervise Student Affairs staff, manage budgets, and ensure effective service delivery across all units.
  • Develop policies, procedures, reports and assessment indicators to evaluate and improve Student Affairs programs.

Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Career Development, Education, Psychology, Human Resources, or related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in student affairs at University level with substantial experience in support services, career services, employability training, or industry partnerships.
  • Proactive network-builder comfortable engaging with industry leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build employer relationships and create internship/ placement programs.
  • Experience developing employability programs, career-readiness workshops, or work-integrated learning initiatives.
  • Experience designing competency-based training programs preferred.
  • Student-centered leader with high emotional intelligence.
Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership, budgeting, team management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
 
 

Accountant

Position Summary

Accountant (Full Set of Accounts)

A reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions for our university. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management in financial decision-making. The ideal candidate is hands-on, independent, and capable of managing all accounting operations with minimal supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • Handle the full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Process supplier invoices, staff claims, payments, and fee collections.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate management reports, cash-flow statements, and budget comparisons.
  • Assist in year-end financial closing with our Tax agency.
  • Tax & Compliance
  • Prepare and file GST/VAT and other returns.
  • Handle corporate tax documentation, liaise with tax agents, and ensure timely submission.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations.
  • Payroll & HR-related Accounting
  • Process monthly payroll, statutory contributions, and generate payslips.
  • Maintain employee expense claims and leave records.
  • Banking & Cash Management
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain proper cash management.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and handle banking transactions.
  • Audit & Liaison
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support annual audit processes.
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist with basic office administration and documentation.
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks and analysis.

Work History:
  • Accounting experience handling full sets of accounts for 3 to 5 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB, SQL, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and bookkeeping practices.
  • Must be proficient in both Khmer and English to translate official documents.
  • Possess good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
Soft Skills
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Highly organised and able to work independently in a small-team environment.
