Report to: Academic Manager/ Deputy Director/Chairman
Campus: All KWIS
Working Hours: 7:00AM-5:00PM (Monday –Friday), 8:00AM - 12:00 PM (Saturday)
Head of student Affairs is the key person who oversees the general operations of the academic department including academic team, head teachers, teachers, teaching assistants and student’s performances. He/she also involves in developing the school curriculum to provide the best of education to students. Here are the main duties of Head of student Affairs.
- Oversees daily operations in the academic department.
- Lead, supervise and manage the academic team members to achieve school goals for student learning and teaching quality.
- Supervise, review and provide feedback to improve the lesson plans, homework, teaching contents, teaching methodology and student’s learning
- Set goal and implement the action plan to achieve higher level of teaching and learning outcomes.
- Ensure that teachers teach students to meet the school curriculum expectations.
- Develop planning plans and evaluate procedure to improve the academic team for higher results.
- Keep record and track student’s progress and find solutions to help improve their performances.
- Attend and conduct educational training and conferences as needed.
- Work closely with international and Khmer teachers to improve teaching quality, student’s learning and school program.
- Review the report cards submitted by teachers and make correction as needed.
- Provide and promote the care, safety and well-being of the students with due regard for discipline, health and safety
- Identify risk factors and propose the solutions to make smooth operations.
- Attend and support at social events as requested.
- Prepare and facilitate the school educational field trip
- Promote a friendly-working environment to all staff and maintain the great performance.
- Involve and plan for the school activities required by the deputy director or Chairman.
- Other tasks assigned by Academic Manager, deputy director or Chairman.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in student services, counseling, educational leadership, teaching and academic leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of student development theories and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
Academic Supervisor
Reports to : Academic Manager / Deputy Director, Director, and Chairman
Working Hours : 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday), 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Saturday)
- Manage gate duties in the morning and afternoon to ensure smooth operations during pick-up and drop-off times.
- Oversee daily operations in the academic department and report to the Academic Manager.
- Lead, supervise, and manage the head of TAs and TAs to achieve school goals.
- Assist the Academic Manager in setting goals and implementing action plans to achieve higher levels of teaching and learning outcomes.
- Ensure that teachers teach students to meet the school curriculum expectations.
- Check homework and learning content from teachers to ensure alignment with the curriculum.
- Keep records and track student progress, finding solutions to improve performance.
- Attend and conduct educational training and conferences as needed.
- Work closely with the head of TAs and TAs to improve student learning and school programs.
- Provide and promote the care, safety, and well-being of the students, with due regard for discipline, health, and safety.

Admin Supervisor
Report to: Deputy Director/ Director/ Chairman
Working Hours: 7:30AM-5:30PM (Monday –Friday), 8:00AM - 12:00 PM (Saturday)
The Admin Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the KWIS. She/he will oversee administrative staff, manage budgets expense, and implement policies and procedures. The Admin Supervisor will ensure that the office is running smoothly, and all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Here are the main duties of the Admin Supervisor.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise operation teams, housekeeping, facility, and security teams to work effectively and efficiently in order meet the school standard;
- Supervise Operation Team (Admin Officer, Stock Controller, Security Guard, Driver, Chef and Maintenance Officer) in the daily operations;
- Verify daily admin duties in the office, including food request, daily and monthly operation supplies requests both non-academic and academic Teams, etc.;
- Supervise and monitor on a day to day to the teams of housekeeping, facility, and security teams to ensure the quality standards of the school;
- Ensure daily cleanup of the campus and ongoing maintenance of buildings;
- Supervise daily students pick-up and drop-off;
- Ensure the secure and safety of buildings for employees and students;
- Verify monthly budget plan for the teams of housekeeping, facility, and security teams;
- Determine allocations of supplies, materials, and equipment for students each class, teachers and staff
- Maintain sound procedures for the security, school routines, supervision and maintenance of the school environment, ensuring that the school premises are fit for the intended purposes
- Monitor and control resources (inventory, stationaries, supplies and other school assets)
- Plan and organize parent meetings, staff training, meetings and Board meetings
- Take lead or coordinate school event planning and management
- Be in charge of recruitment, hiring, training, meeting and evaluating staff
- Direct or coordinate activities of staff and external educational activities
- Assist Deputy Director in managing and planning strategies for the school cafeteria service standard in order to achieve high satisfaction level from students;
- Assist Deputy Director in developing, implementing, and reviewing operational standards, policies, and procedures;
- Assist Deputy Director in ensuring full compliance with SOP's, policies, procedures and service standards
- Perform other tasks assigned by Deputy Director, Director and Chairman
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2-year experience in school operation, maintenance and facility is preferred.
- Experience in international school is a plus;

Chinese Teacher

The Chinese Teacher is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Academic Affairs with the following responsibilities:
- Follow the pacing guide to make sure that it is on par with the curriculum
- Prepare lesson plan, homework, quizzes and exam
- Make sure the class is orderly operated
- Conduct the placement test of new students
- Prepare and mark homework/worksheets, tests, and examination papers
- Record the marked papers
- Meet all the deadlines as required
- Check and record the student’s attendance
- Prepare and suggest materials for IEYC and IPC program
- Substitute classes if needed
- Fill in report cards/assessment files
- Deal with parent complaints/ suggestions
- Take part in course syllabus design
- Facilitate PTC, and other school events
- Revise and update school curriculum if needed
- Greet parents and students in the morning at the entrance
- Join monthly meeting or training
- Performed other assigned tasks by Head Chinese Teacher.

A teacher is a teaching professional who is meant to help the students to gain knowledge, competence, and virtue. He/she also involves in developing the school curriculum to provide the best of education to students.
