Job Brief
The Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC) is committed to strengthening Cambodia’s banking sector through financial inclusion, research, and policy development. To support this mission, ABC seeks a highly motivated Head of Research to analyze industry data, financial inclusion trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform industry stakeholders and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Industry Data Insights & Analysis
- Collect, analyze, and interpret industry data on financial inclusion, digital banking, credit access, and emerging technologies relevant to the Cambodian banking and finance sector.
- Develop data-driven insights on the impact of financial inclusion initiatives and disseminate findings to inform decision-making and policy dialogue.
- Monitor and benchmark regional and global financial inclusion trends and assess their implications for Cambodia’s banking sector.
- Provide regular industry performance updates, highlighting key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the financial sector.
- Industry Publications & Reports
- Contribute to the development of data-driven industry reports, research publications, and case studies on financial inclusion, digital banking, and social impact.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to generate actionable insights for financial institutions and policymakers.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders to produce financial sector trend reports and provide data-backed policy recommendations.
- Thought Leadership & Advocacy
- Work with PR team to produce data-driven articles, thought leadership pieces, and research-based content for relevant publications and platforms to disseminate best practices and innovations.
- Engage with policymakers, financial institutions, and international organizations to advocate for data-backed policies that promote inclusive finance.
- Represent ABC at conferences, workshops, and forums to share industry insights and research findings.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytic, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial research, data analysis, banking, microfinance, or financial inclusion.
- Experience:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, statistical analysis, and industry research.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Khmer.
- Experience publishing data-driven research reports, articles, or policy briefs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders in the banking and microfinance sectors.
Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager is expecting to lead financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. This role will play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making, managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong analytical capabilities, business acumen and team management experience.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and business risks.
- Deliver insightful financial reports to senior leadership.
- Strategic Business Support
- Partner with department heads to provide financial insights and improve decision-making.
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and ROI projections.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate reports on monthly basis, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reports. Reports shall be consisted of Balance Sheet, Income Statements & Cash flow.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and audit
- Requirements.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Oversee workload allocation and promote continuous skill development.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration.
- Stakeholder Management
- Handle, manage & facilitate PSWGs of G-PSF, CBHC PLC., and DF reporting.
- Support to other WGs, Committees & IBF, where required.
- Act as the finance point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and key vendors.
- Support investor relations or board reporting (if applicable).
- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- Experience in using accounting software and manual P&L, booking keeping, balance sheet for group of Companies.
- Experience in analyzing group of Companies’ business structure to develop efficient process, operation structure and accurate financial reports.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial regulations.
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling and data visualization skills.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
- Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.

Sustainability Officer

Main Purpose
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated entry-level Sustainability Officer to support our sustainability and environmental initiatives. This role is ideal for recent graduates passionate about climate action, sustainable development, and corporate responsibility. You will assist in data collection, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of sustainability projects in Action Plan of the ABC.
- Work with the Head of Business Development to implement a Sustainable Finance Action Plan for the association.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of environmental and sustainability data (e.g., energy, water, waste).
- Help prepare sustainability reports, presentations, and communications (internal and external).
- Support compliance tracking and documentation related to sustainability regulations and policies. [bank’s sustainable finance principles and environmental and social risk management policies.]
- Participate in sustainability campaigns, awareness programs, and employee engagement activities.
- Help maintain documentation and records for sustainability.

Job Brief
We are looking for an Admin Intern to work with us for a period of 6 months. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in office administration and support functions. The successful candidate will assist with daily administrative tasks, help organize and maintain office systems, and contribute to the smooth operation of the workplace.
