RESPONSIBILITIES

As Head of Partnership and Fundraising, you will be part of the senior management team and report directly to the operational director. You will focus on securing funding from multilateral donor agencies, trusts and foundations, government agencies, corporations, embassies and private donors. You will work closely with the Technical Advisor (TA) in Fundraising and the Finance Manager,. The role includes working and coordinating with different DT teams at the project level to prepare grant proposals,strengthen relationships with existing donors and explore new funding possibilities including fundraising on social medias. Details as follows :

Duties
  • Leading partnership, fundraising and communication team members to implement fundraising and communication plan.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with institutional and private donors and coordinating donor site visits
  • Identifying potential donors for Damnok Toek’s projects
  • Developing new proposals and preparing funding submissions
  • Elaborating on and monitoring of a funding plan
  • Writing narrative reports for donors which includes liaising with the MEL Officer, the TA Fundraising, and the Finance Coordinator to ensure that all reports are submitted in a timely manner
  • Be responsible for Damnok Toek’s annual report and sharing with donors
  • The head of Partnership and Fundraising will be assisted by a Technical Advisor (expatriate) with excellent written and oral English skills and experience in handling important donors and grants.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in Fundraising
  • Motivation to work for a grassroots organization
  • Interest in Child Protection issues and projects supporting vulnerable and street-children
  • Excellent spoken and written Khmer
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Excellent communication, budgeting and writing skills, particularly for writing grant proposals
  • Knowledge of project cycle management and logical framework analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan and manage a high volume of work, and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and a good sense of humor
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Strong networking skills
  • Pays attention to detail for consistency
  • Ability and willingness to travel to the provinces (regular travel is required)
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial management preferred
  • Experience working in grant management, reporting and fundraising with private and institutional donors or related field.
