Role Overview

We are seeking a head of finance in Cambodia who will play a pivotal role as a partner to the Country Manager in driving financial performance and ensuring the company's growth and achieving its targets by 2030. This position requires good financial leadership, an ability to provide solutions and insights, a strong business mindset, and a proven track record in scaling businesses.

The Head of Finance will be responsible for the financial framework and set up to expand our presence in Cambodia. Helping the several departments, and delivering exceptional financial reports across all channels. You enjoy deep-diving into data (margins, inventory and COGS) to tell a story, you are passionate about driving digitization and going paperless, you are pro-active partner to the GM and lead your team up to their full potential

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial management reports and recommendations for management team - living the data
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis as required for other stakeholders (including, investors, debt providers and donors)
  • Prepare documentation as needed for full compliance and auditing requirements
  • Financial modelling and analysis
  • Maintain financial model and create and reports as required for strategic decisions
  • Weekly/monthly cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
  • Develop and maintain tools for accurate cash flow forecasting and planning
  • Track and manage budgets and variance
  • Provide financial advice and support to management based on financial analysis
  • Analyse COGS, product pricing and specially the gross margins for each product including pricing review, discount impact analysis, and set financial KPIs for production team,
  • Policies and procedures
  • Review and improve Financial Management Manual
  • Review procurement policy
  • Develop transfer pricing policy, advising on tax efficient ways of operating across companies
  • Inventory control
  • Monthly inventory reconciliation
  • Monthly inventory feedback to the production site
  • Finance team
  • Review existing practices in the Cambodia accounting department
  • Strengthen ERP (Odoo) ownership and data discipline
  • Build capacity and manage the accounting team to deliver all financial management without the use of external consultants *Including monthly management accounts, tax declarations
  • Manage the preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Prepare the monthly and annual tax reports TOI and oversee successful tax payment to GDT
  • Prepare all financial compliance documents as needed including Annual Declaration of Commercial Enterprise (ADCE), Patent Tax and Official Financial Statements (ACAR)
  • Oversee Accounts Receivables and develop systems for client payment tracking
  • Support overseas invoicing as required for export
  • Manage relationships with external consultants as required
  • Lead the audit process in Cambodia annual
  • Lead the physical inventory monthly, ensure monthly physical stock reconciliation and system alignment.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's Degree is preferred
Work History:
  • Progressive finance and strategy leadership experience, with a track record of success in both commercial and manufacturing industries for 5 years as a minimum

  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Sales & Technical Officer is a role that combines expertise in both sales and technical knowledge of the company’s products or services. This role serves as a critical link between the customer and internal technical teams, ensuring that client needs are effectively communicated and met with the right solutions.

Report to: Sales Manager/ Head of Sales and Marketing

Working Location:

  • 1 Post based in Kampong Thom Province
  • 1 Post based in Pursath Province
  • 1 Post based in Preah Vihear Province
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and mange farmers, dealers meeting to communicate performances of Husk.
  • Conduct trial, demo in assigned areas or potential areas.
  • Promote products and technical support services to farmers.
  • Help support AR collection from the customers.
  • Have capacity on weekly and monthly report to Sale Manager or Head of Sales & Marketing.
  • Good relationship with existing and find new potential customers.
  • Update market situations, seeking, verifying, reporting for all market data and information.
  • Survey competitor products, movements and feedback to Sale Manager or Head of Sales & Marketing.
  • Support distributors with solutions for technical queries.
  • Customer service to farmers with questions about products and applications
  • Distribute marketing material in depots and agricultural cooperatives.
  • Communication for farmers to get feedback from our products.
  • Follow the company guidelines on data collection and regular reporting, using on-line internal tools.
  • Coordinating, training and follow up to the super farms to push the sales and marketing advertising.
