Head Cashier
POSITION SUMMARY
Head Cashier is situated at the back of the receptionists where they are conveniently positioned to support customers and from where they will be able to see to safety and prevention of losses right from entry point at Appletree International School.
- Ensures that the checkout section is orderly and secure;
- Ascertains that transactions involving customers are expeditiously and efficiently processed;
- Provides rapid response to client complaints and acknowledging them professionally;
- Mentor simple cashiers in the mastery of outstanding customer service;
- Designates duties to the cashier and decide on extent of daily workload;
- Finds resolution to team conflicts daily and carry out disciplinary actions on offenders;
- Collects the payment; and complete each transaction in line with enacted principles and procedures with accounting at Appletree International School;
- Understands clearly about school information, school fees and promotion;
- Ensures that all pertinent information is recorded;
- Handles complaints efficiently and politely;
- Receives all cash and documents for Appletree;
- Reports daily activity and informs superior of any customer comments either positive or negative;
- Respects and abides by Appletree International School vision, mission, goals and all policies, guideline, and quality management systems;
- Coordinates all daily payment transaction within the school;
- Follows and handles all issues related to payment transaction for the school;
- Handles hospitality work for Appletree.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, accounting or related courses;
- Computer knowledge (Ms. Office, Quick Book, internet & email, & Ms. Project);
- At least 1 or 2 years of progressively responsible work experience in teaching;
- Good Chinese and English proficiency;
- Be honest, punctual, reliable, dynamic and creative person;
- Organizational skills with attention to details.
- Must be responsible, reliable, resourceful, punctual, creative and cooperative.
Teacher Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY
Teacher Assistant is individual who provide support to the teacher and to students in an appropriate manner that improves the overall quality of education in the classroom and school.
- Ensures that students grasp lesson objectives;
- Reinforces learning to students by reviewing the course material and helping them with class work assignments;
- Encourages students to work independently but also to have class participation and interaction with other students;
- Provides individual assistance to students experiencing learning difficulty, explain errors answer questions, assist research, clarify directions;
- Performs weekly or monthly student observations. This involves monitoring students’ academic, cooperative and behavioral performance, then reporting the students’ progress to the Academic Coordinator and Campus Director);
- Should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the subject being taught to students;
- Substitutes teachers if teachers are absents;
- May have to update memos and notices, take attendance, distribute and collect assignments and prepare other classroom related material;
- Maintains a neat and orderly classroom environment;
- Supervises students not only inside but also outside the classroom is a very important role; that
- included monitoring hallways, lunchroom, sleeping room, playground areas, etc.
- Required to be a respectful, cooperative, and reliable team member and participant in school activities.
- Respects and abides by Appletree International School vision, mission, goals and all policies, guideline, and quality management systems;
- Provides information about students to the teachers and Vice-Principal;
- Considers over education operating activities, based on the policies approved;
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in education or related courses;
- Minimum of one-year experience in teacher assistant;
- Computer knowledge (Ms. Office, internet & email, & Ms. Project);
- Good English Proficiency;
