Graphic Design and Production Specialist

Position Summary

Reporting to Marketing Director

Contract Type and Duration Contractor – 1 year

The Graphic Design/Production Specialist purpose is to create engaging, attractive, innovative content designs and video materials for online and offline platforms following Marie Stopes International Cambodia (MSIC) brand identity. Final pieces of design and video materials shall be tailored to the specific target audience identified. The role will seek to garner more interest from audience to MSIC online and offline channels. From concept through execution, he/she will improve our client experience by bringing our brand to life and keeping it consistent across all our various channels. He/she will also design materials and content needed for overall marketing and communications use.

This position is a full time position with flexible working hours. The Graphic Designer/Production Specialist is expected to report to the Support Office once a month.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Create engaging, attractive and innovative designs
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications team support content marketing for social media, website and other channels
  • Help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design
  • Scope and create templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in some of their posting on social media, website, email, and other channels
  • Create image/carousels/GIF posts for online platforms
  • Create thumbnails for videos
  • Observe online trends.
  • Create monthly workplan
  • Create graphic designs in the format of static posts, carousel, photo slideshow, photo album
  • Design MSIC’s branding/IEC/marketing materials, announcement, poster, signage, and other materials as needed
  • Design approaches to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of MSIC’s IEC material displays and take onboard findings to design future materials
  • Produce materials required for MSIC’s service delivery points and events
  • Other tasks assigned by Marketing Director
  • Produce MSIC’s video materials
  • Maintain and troubleshooting audio, video, and lighting equipment
  • Support and participate in the production of video materials, and operating camera or recording if required
  • Monitor the production process and ensuring that quality standards are in line with MSIC’s brand book/guidelines
  • Handle video post-production duties ensuring timely delivery
  • Report production project status and KPI/metrics to the Director of Marketing on a weekly basis
  • Design approaches to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of MSIC’s video material displays and broadcast and take onboard findings to design future materials
  • Participate in events organized by MSIC and implementing duties delegated by the Marketing Director
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or college experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to use Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, and other design/video editing applications
  • Experience:
  • Experience in content designing
  • Experience in video production and editing
  • Basic understanding of social media and the tools
  • Understanding of sexual reproductive health and safe abortion
  • Skills
  • Be creative and have a good visual sense
  • Effective communication through active listening and good questioning techniques, ensuring information is clear and concise.
  • Confident in facilitating online discussions on safe abortion and other sensitive topics among women and men, including youth and people with disabilities
  • Know how to attract audience with designs
  • Understand what online audience are interested in and the current trends
 
 

HR Intern

Position Summary

Reporting to: HR Manager

Monthly allowance is $200 per month.

MSIC is looking for and HR intern. HR internship is the opportunity to learn various aspect of HR and administration to gain skills and experience for future job.

HR Intern is responsible for performing day-to-day aspects of HR administration and supporting daily activities, including operational support to the program and assist in doing and keeping the administration in Human Resource section, staff recruitment, assist in preparing payroll and other human resources administrative works as assigned.

Duration of the internship is 6 months.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Human Resources
  • Assist in updating personnel files for all staffs as well as office files including insurance, and others contract
  • Assist in updating employee information are proper recorded in HR system
  • Assist in updating new staff information in to the HR system
  • Record compensate leave into HR system
  • Assist on recruitment activities such as: post out the job advertise to medias, collect CVs, schedule and contact candidate etc.
  • Responsible for preparing formal letter ( employment contract, probation, promotion, termination and MSIC recommendation letters )
  • Assist in colleting and checking extra services from clinic team.
  • Assisting in collecting staff documents at the start and leave of staff
  • Assist in inducting to new staff on LMS system and ensuring AFB course is taken
  • Assist in inducting to new staff how to use E-leave system
  • Administration
  • Assist in preparing PR/Invoice approval
  • Assist in arranging air ticket booking, visa requirement and travel arrangement for both local staff and visitor
  • Assist in delivering/picking document to authorities/ministries and relevant organizations
  • Assist in organizing staff activities and events
  • Assist in collecting attendant list from centre backup providers
  • Other tasks:
  • Undertaking other responsibilities as assigned by HR Managers
  • Assisting other staff as requested
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
  • A Bachelors degree in a relevant field or relevant experience
  • Year 3 student or fresh graduate in human resources, management or related field.
  • Experience of managing many tasks and meeting deadlines (desirable)
  • Skills:
  • Fluent in Khmer both oral and written
  • English oral and written (basic level)
  • Strong interpersonal & listening skills
  • Strong time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Computer literate – Ms. Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure.
