Conservation International-Greater Mekong Program (CI) has worked in Cambodia since 2002. CI has multiple conservation projects in the Central Cardamom Mountains National Park (CCMNP), Tonle Sap Great Lake, Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary, and in the Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park. CI works in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, other international conservation and development organizations, local non-governmental organizations and the private sector.
Conservation International (CI) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for the Governance Team Leader for the recently awarded five-year USAID Greening Prey Lang project.
The USAID Greening Prey Lang project, in partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia, aims to improve and maintain the health of forest and freshwater ecosystems within and surrounding the Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary by engaging civil society and public entities to work together to consolidate the conservation and sustainable management of the Prey Lang Extended Landscape. To accomplish this, the project provides technical assistance for sustainable landscape management and biodiversity conservation to beneficiaries who depend on ecological services such as clean air and water, biodiversity and food community-based organizations.
