The Role
Tetra Tech is seeking a GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion) Adviser to lead the delivery of a GEDSI Strategy and Action Plan, embed inclusive approaches across ACP4Climate, and establish systems and partnerships that engage women, persons with disabilities, Indigenous Peoples and marginalised groups. Working closely with the GEDSI Lead, the Adviser will provide technical advice, quality assurance, mentoring to the team and partners, and strengthen inclusive policies, practices and capacity at national and subnational levels. Regular travel to Cambodia will be required.
- Provide technical GEDSI advice to program design, planning and implementation.
- Develop GEDSI tools, guidance, training materials and monitoring indicators.
- Review and quality‑assure GEDSI elements in proposals, plans and reports.
- Deliver GEDSI training and capacity building for staff and partners (remote and in‑country).
- Support stakeholder engagement to ensure participation of women, persons with disabilities, Indigenous Peoples and marginalised groups.
- Monitor GEDSI performance and prepare short technical deliverables and reports to schedule.
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in gender studies, disability/inclusive development, international development, social science or closely related field (essential).
- Proven experience advising donor‑funded or international development programs on GEDSI or social inclusion for 8 years as a minimum
- Demonstrated experience developing GEDSI strategies, tools, training and monitoring frameworks.
- Strong written and spoken English; ability to write clear, accessible technical documents.
- Experience working in Cambodia or Southeast Asia.
- Experience engaging with government, civil society and marginalised groups.
- Qualifications and/or experience in climate change, environmental science or similar discipline.
- Khmer language skills.
- Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and travel to Cambodia when required.
