About the Position

The FEC is the operational engine of the F&C Department. The role leads local fundraising campaigns, manages donor and partner visits, serves as PEPY's main contact for the Alumni Association, and supports the FCM on donor engagement and reporting. This is a full-time role based in Siem Reap.

Key Responsibilities

This position reports to the FCM for workload management and Performance Planning and Review (PPR). Under the guidance of and in cooperation with the FCM, the Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator will:

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Local fundraising & campaigns
  • Work with the FCM to plan and manage PEPY's local fundraising campaigns, events, awareness activities, and necessary reports.
  • Spearhead all localized fundraising efforts, including those run in partnership with the Alumni Association.
  • Manage campaign logistics, budgets, and timelines end-to-end.
  • Coordinate campaign materials with the CO and report results to the FCM.
  • Support the FCM in identifying and approaching local businesses for CSR partnership and collaboration opportunities.
  • Donor & partner visits
  • Lead and coordinate tours and site visits for donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare visit itineraries, briefing materials, and follow-up documentation.
  • Manage visit-related logistics, including transport, scheduling, and hosting budget.
  • Ensure all donor and partner visits comply with PEPY's safeguarding policies, including visitor briefings and coordinating necessary consents (e.g. photography/media use).
  • Update donor records in the CRM after each visit or interaction.
  • Send timely thank-you communications and gather donor/partner feedback after each visit.
  • Represent PEPY publicly in a manner consistent with its values.
  • Alumni Association & stakeholder engagement
  • Serve as PEPY's primary contact for the Alumni Association.
  • Coordinate and support alumni-led fundraising, events, and community activities.
  • Track alumni participation and report to the FCM monthly.
  • Identify alumni who could serve as volunteers, ambassadors, or mentors.
  • Donor engagement & reporting
  • Support the FCM in maintaining the annual fundraising calendar and donor contact schedule.
  • Implement donor segmentation and communicate at appropriate frequency and depth.
  • Coordinate assigned donor reports and acknowledgements as specified in the activity plan.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all partnership and donor interactions.
  • Administration, planning & performance development
  • Maintain timely records of campaigns, visits, and partner activities.
  • Prepare activity summaries and updates as requested by the FCM.
  • Actively participate in team planning and review meetings.
  • Commit to continuous learning and Performance Planning & Review (PPR) processes.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, management, marketing, IT or a related field.
Work History:
  • Experience for 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience coordinating events, fundraising activities, or community engagement.
  • Proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools.
  • Understanding of child protection principles and PEPY's safeguarding policies.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations, or partnership development.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid police certificate (criminal background check) maintained throughout employment.
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Khmer and English (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and initiate outreach with external stakeholders.

Scholar Recruitment & Academic Officer

About the Position

The Scholar Recruitment & Academic Officer leads the recruitment, selection, and academic development of PEPY scholars. The role expands educational access through a fair intake process and strengthens scholars' academic performance and university and vocational pathways. Through program planning, mentorship, and partnerships with schools and higher-education institutions, the Officer ensures scholars are recruited well and succeed academically through to graduation.

This position reports to the Program Coordinator for workload management and Performance Planning and Review (PPR). Under the guidance of and in cooperation with the Coordinator, the Recruitment & Academic Officer will:

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Program & Project Management
  • Ensure scholarship recruitment and academic activities are aligned with strategic goals, supported by detailed annual activity plans, and monitored through frameworks that support learning and accountability.
  • Create annual activity and budget plans for the recruitment and academic components of the scholarship program.
  • Maintain accurate records related to recruitment, enrolment, and academic progress, and use these data to inform program improvements.
  • Ensure seamless integration of recruitment and academic activities within broader organizational programs.
  • Student Recruitment & Selection
  • Lead the recruitment process for new intake students, including announcement, shortlisting, and interviews.
  • Maintain clear, fair, and well-documented selection criteria and ensure a transparent selection process.
  • Organize Parents' Meetings for new intake students and families to ensure full understanding of the program, including agreements for both parents and students.
  • Coordinate orientation and integration events for newly selected scholars.
  • Student Support & University/Vocational Pathways
  • Provide one-on-one academic coaching, group workshops, and peer-tutoring matches to strengthen academic performance.
  • Organize and manage tutoring and peer-learning sessions to reinforce academic achievement.
  • Track academic attendance and grades, identify scholars needing additional support, and put support measures in place.
  • Guide scholars on university entry, course selection, and continuing-education opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools and higher-education institutions to support scholars' academic pathways.
  • Communication & Reporting (Academic)
  • Document recruitment and academic activities, ensuring records are complete and up to date.
  • Contribute recruitment and academic data and updates to the scholarship database maintained for organizational reporting.
  • Contribute to social media and communications content related to recruitment and academic milestones.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Related to education or evidence of study in social development or community development fields as a minimum
  • Undergraduate Degree in year 3 as a minimum
Work History:
  • Especially with youth or in community-based training programs for 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Understanding of child protection principles & practices including the implementation of safeguarding policies & the identification & prevention of all forms of child abuse;
  • Experience in designing and delivering trainings and workshops
  • Knowledge of youth development, including the Cambodian Youth Development Policy & related frameworks;
  • Commitment to PEPY’s Vision, Mission, Values, & internal guidelines including policy & procedures, especially relating to program and financial procedures.
  • Program & project management, including planning, monitoring, evaluation;
  • Previous work in NGOs, social enterprises, or development programs;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer.
Soft Skills
  • Strong facilitation and public speaking skills, particularly with young people
