Position Summary Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
Note: This is not a full-time position.
- Responsibilities Include:
- Routine Security Check-ups: Regular code sanitation and clean-up to ensure the site's security.
- Core WP Updates: Keeping WordPress up-to-date with the latest versions.
- Themes & Plugins Updates: Ensuring all themes and plugins are current and functional.
- Backups: Conducting weekly local backups and weekly/monthly remote backups.
- Visitor Stats: Monitoring and reporting on basic visitor statistics weekly.
- CDN Management: Handling Content Delivery Network for global image file distribution.
- Server Uptime Monitoring: Ensuring the server is always operational.
- Hosting Maintenance: Regularly maintaining hosting environments.
- Content Publishing: Publishing up to 5 new pages monthly.
- Web Optimization: Optimizing images for web use before publication.
- Key Duties:
- Daily Updates & Issue Resolution: Keep the site updated daily and resolve any issues arising from updates.
- Hosting Provider Liaison: Handle any issues with the hosting provider to maintain site uptime.
- Security Management: Mitigate any security breaches, vulnerabilities, or hacking attempts.
- Backup Management: Keep backups current and secure.
- Visitor Monitoring: Track and analyze visitor actions to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Content Optimization: Optimize and publish weekly posts and provided images for the web.
