Financial Supervisor

Position Summary

Department: Ocean Freight

Reports To: Ocean Freight Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Financial Supervisor to join our Ocean Freight Department in Cambodia. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic financial planning for ocean freight activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a small team of financial clerks.

Working Conditions:

This is an office-based role located in Phnom Penh. Standard working hours apply, with occasional overtime during financial closing periods. The role may require coordination with overseas agents and international partners.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily financial operations related to ocean freight transactions.
  • Review and approve invoices, payment vouchers, and financial reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers and reconciliation with shipping documents.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax regulations and international accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Train and mentor financial clerks to maintain high performance and accuracy.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and transparency.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in local language, English (both written & spoken) and Mandarin/Chinese is a definite advantage.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
 

Operation Clerk

Position Summary

Department: Ocean Freight

Reports To: Ocean Freight Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operation Clerk to join our Ocean Freight team in Cambodia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting operational activities, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with international shipping standards.

Working Conditions:

This is an office-based role located in Phnom Penh. Standard working hours apply, with occasional overtime during peak operational periods. The role requires strong coordination with local and international partners.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily ocean freight operations including booking, documentation, and shipment tracking.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, customs declarations, AMS and ISF filings.
  • Monitor shipment status and update internal systems and customers accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambodian customs regulations and international shipping standards.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and discrepancies related to ocean freight.
  • Maintain organized records and support internal audits and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, preferably in ocean freight operations.
  • Proficiency in local language, English (both spoken and written). Mandarin/Chinese is a definite advantage
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and freight forwarding systems.

Customer Service Clerk

Position Summary

Department: Ocean Freight

Reports To: Ocean Freight Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our Ocean Freight team in Cambodia as a Customer Service Clerk. The successful candidate will support daily operations, ensure smooth communication with clients and carriers, and maintain accurate documentation for ocean freight shipments.

This is an office-based role located in Phnom Penh. Standard working hours apply, with occasional overtime during peak operational periods. The role requires strong coordination with local and international partners.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Handle customer inquiries related to ocean freight shipments via phone, email, and internal systems.
  • Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, and overseas agents to ensure timely booking and shipment execution.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Track and trace shipments, proactively update customers on shipment status and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies and claims related to ocean freight.
  • Support the sales and operations teams with customer-related documentation and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • High school diploma or above; diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field is a plus.
  • 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, preferably in ocean freight.
  • Strong communication skills in local language and English (both written & spoken). Mandarin/Chinese is a definite advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with TMS or freight forwarding systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
