Duty Station: Phnom Penh
Duration: 12 months (Possibility to renew)
- The Finance Officer will work the Project’s Focal Point, report to the Director of the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH), and be responsible for the following:
- Ensure the finance procedure(s) and practice comply with NIPH/USCD requirements and in a timely manner
- Prepare the needed documents/ reports/ records for financial audit and participate in financial audits
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor and communicate to each project focal point to update the expenditure rate and alert about the remaining budget. Keep a record(s) of all transactions and payments in terms of salary, purchasing, and other contracting services, etc
- Check and verify of expenditures documents submitted,
- Reconciliation of bank accounts with bank statements,
- Reconciliation of petty cash,
- Prepare financial and accounting information as requested by NIPH Director,
- Engage in budget estimation and budget narrative preparation for each fiscal year
- Preparing, checking, and updating inventory list,
- Any other duties the NIPH Director and the Focal Point assign.

- Khmer - Good
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- Work experience in the field of accounting for 4 years as a minimum
- Accountancy certification from an accredited financial/accounting institute
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Khmer
- Computer literacy, fully competent in MS Word Excel programs, Accounting software Quick Book Pro, Quick Book Premier, and Peachtree Pro.
- Able to work without much supervision
- Committed to the tasks assigned with high responsibility
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
