Finance Monitoring Officer

The purpose of this role of “Finance Monitoring Officer” will ensure smooth and effective technical support and financial monitoring of partners and programs by works in close collaboration within operations team and program team. The main responsibilities of the role are performed in a quality and timely manner.

- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, Business Administration, or related field;
- At least of experience in financial management, preferably in an NGOs for 3 years
- Experience working with partners, reviewing reports, conducting financial monitoring visits, and supporting capacity building.
- Exposure to donor compliance (e.g., NORAD, EU etc.) is a plus
- Experience in training or mentoring local partner finance staff.
- Good dialogue/communication with both partners and the Oslo office
- Good communication with the operations team and program team
- Manage deadlines and demonstrate high levels of accountability
- Ability to review supporting documentation and detect inconsistencies
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel advanced level)
- Familiarity with donor-funded project finance (INGO, or development sector).
- Commitment to safeguarding policies and keeps up with donor and accounting standards
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and dedication to equity and inclusion
- Strong interpersonal and training abilities to help partners strengthen financial management systems
