Finance Intern
Contract: 6 months with possibility of extension
Job purpose: The Finance Intern is to provide and support financial functions in the Cambodia Country office and to contribute to the high-impact performance and success of the business operation -CLV Cluster. This position will be working directly with the Finance Coordinator, with overall responsibility for the financial management.
- Support the Finance Operation team to review expenditures and payment requests, and ensure that all financial and accounting documents are well-documented.
- Support the team during internal audit, external audit and donor visit. Assist team to find relevant supporting documents for the auditor, filling back all the documents after the audit.
- Support the Finance Coordinator and the Finance Officer in preparing requisitions, payment requests, and the bank transfer process.
- Assist the finance team on bank-related matters, visiting banks, and Tax if needed.
- In charge of photocopying/scanning finance documents to get approval through the Box folder.
- Support the organization and implementation of Business Operation team activities include but not limit in Finance, HR, IT and Admin’s works.
- Provide support to the program team in organizing events, workshops and meetings when requested.
- Perform other tasks as requested by line manager.
- Job Requirements
- University graduates, preferred graduate with background in finance or administration.
- Able to speak and write English
- Good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Ms Outlook, PowerPoint);
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work independently as well as in the team;
- Strong motivation for learning about development work;
- Willingness to travel, if required.
