The Finance Coordinator will support the Finance and Operations Manager in managing program accounts, maintaining appropriate financial controls, facilitating payment requests, implementing financial compliance measures, and ensuring transparency and fraud awareness within the program.
The position will assist with budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, payment processing, accounting expenditure, bank account administration, fund replenishment, and the preparation of monthly accounts and financial statements. The role will also ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and contribute to the smooth day-to-day financial operations of the program.
- Support the Finance and Operations Manager in meeting the program’s finance and accounting obligations.
- Process day-to-day payments and verify supporting documentation in line with policies and procedures.
- Prepare payroll, payslips, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reconciliation reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records, accounts filing systems, and QuickBooks entries.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, fund replenishment, and preparation of financial reports.
- Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and social insurance officers on relevant matters.
- Support VAT refund processes and salary and withholding tax declarations.
- Contribute to financial compliance, training, continuous improvement, and other duties as required.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field is required
- Accounting, finance and business administration operations and reporting for 5 years as a minimum
- ACCA/CPA or other relevant professional certifications an advantage.
- Preferably in an International Development Context.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Good understanding of financial operations, including payments, accounting, reporting, and approvals.
- Knowledge of Cambodian VAT, labour, social insurance, and personal income tax legislation is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English
