Finance Business Partner
Position Summary Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
This role is solely responsible for preparing financial and management reporting for Business including month end close, forecasting, planning and accounting services are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Preparation and monitoring of the BU Financial Plan
- Close the month end financial results, provide insightful variance analysis and report to management/BU heads
- Drive the ongoing review and update of forecasts in conjunction with various business unit heads
- Finance support for projects and business opportunities including analysis of business cases
- Foster strong working relationships with business partners and Credit Operations, Risk, reflecting a 'centre of expertise' of Finance
- Develop and maintain professional relationship with business unit and relevant J Trust Royal Bank
- Continuously improve Management report and monthly month end report process
- Implement performance management across the team; be inspirational leaders through 'living the vision’
- Alignment and adherence with J Trust Royal Bank strategy, governance policies, processes and standards
- Identify compliance risks and issues within areas and determine remediation plans
- High level of relationship building and influencing skills.
