Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - Assist the Finance Officer in preparing and managing the annual budget.
- Review and verify procurement, purchasing, and bidding processes.
- Support the Finance Officer in producing monthly financial reports for management.
- Assist the CEO in preparing quarterly and annual board meeting reports.
- Ensure timely issuance of monthly invoices for rental, parking, and utilities.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to collect rental fees and follow up on overdue accounts receivable.
- Record and post income and expense transactions into the accounting system.
- Support the Property Administrator in lease signing, tenant complaints, and MEP operations.
- Review and maintain organized and up-to-date tenant files and lease contracts.
- Assist in asset management including tagging, depreciation, disposal, and write-offs.
- Coordinate with NSSF on insurance and staff benefit matters.
- Provide support to the security team, janitorial team, and handyman services.
- Check and verify payments to suppliers, operating expenses, staff advances, and reimbursements.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance/accounting roles within a company.
- Knowledge in accounting or banking practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and transparency.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with confidence.
