Hanchey Bamboo Resort is a social enterprise founded by Buddhism for Social Development Action (BSDA) for providing training opportunities in hospitality for young disadvantaged people in Kampong Cham province. The resort offers accommodation, food and beverage, a swimming pool, and other facilities for customers for relaxing and unwinding in the remoted area.

HBR is now seeking for a candidate to fulfill the position as follow:

Finance and Admin Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Financial Management (70%): ensure timely implementation of projects project with the highest level of quality, impact sustainability.
  • Understanding about Social Enterprise Project.
  • Oversee all financial management, planning and ensure transparency and integrity of all financial transactions.
  • Develop long-range forecasts and maintain long-range financial plans.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks finance system.
  • Ensure compliance with national laws, policies, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor the development of national laws &policies regarding tax liability, financial reporting responsibilities, etc.
  • Provide financial insight to Director/Manager to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations, legislation, and update finance policy.
  • Maintain an organized office and organize fiscal documents.
  • Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems, and controls.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of the organization's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals.
  • Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting.
  • Payroll to staff and other taxation by monthly.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor all fundraising and accounting systems and procedures capturing all pledges, billings, and receipts and for the recording of all revenue transactions, recommend and implement improvements to systems.
  • Admin work (30%):
  • Ensure the smooth and accurate operations of social enterprise admin activities such as hiring process, contracts, Field site, and appraisals.
  • Oversee MOU renewal with relevant government ministries if any.
  • Oversee organization insurance policies/work permits and visa extensions for ex-pat staff.
  • Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission - specifically, support management reporting, information flow and management, business process, and organizational planning.
  • Monthly paid.
  • Develop and keep admin letters like invitation letters, reporting, minute taking, permission letters etc.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Knowledge, experience, skills, and abilities
  • Strong commitment to social justice and the organization’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financial management required.
  • At least three years of experience working in the finance department of an NGO in either a management or supervision role.
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload, delegate tasks/responsibilities, and constantly reassess priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Oral and written fluency in both English and Khmer.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Flexible attitude, independent, and teamwork personality.
  • Can use internet, E-mail, social media, and computer with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others.
  • Honest, ethical and reliable, with a strong commitment to equal opportunity and diversity.
