Position Summary

Report to Finance and Admin Coordinator

Purpose:

The Finance and Administration Assistant supports the effective and transparent management of financial and administrative operations of CRC-Cambodia. The role assists in maintaining accurate financial records, implementing financial systems and procedures, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, donor requirements, and organizational policies. The position also supports procurement and administrative processes by assisting in sourcing goods and services, maintaining supplier records, monitoring costs, quantities, and quality, and ensuring procurement procedures comply with CRC-Cambodia’s procurement policy. Regular support to internal control checks and documentation is required to promote accountability and efficient operations.

The Finance and Administration Assistant is required to adhere to CRC-Cambodia’s child safeguarding policies and uphold a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of child abuse and exploitation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Dimensions of the Position: 
  • The Finance and Administration Assistant works closely with the Finance and Administration Coordinator to support day-to-day financial transactions for project staff. The position is primarily responsible for accurate data entry in QuickBooks and ensuring the correctness and completeness of supporting documents attached to payment vouchers for projects and units under his/her responsibility. Key responsibilities also include supporting procurement processes such as vendor assessment, price comparison, contract preparation, and documentation, while ensuring full compliance with CRC-Cambodia’s procurement policies and donor requirements. For this role, the Finance and Administration Assistant is expected to have a good understanding of local market research, strong attention to detail, and solid analytical skills to identify cost-effective and value-for-money procurement options.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in or evidence of advanced study in Accounting, Finance, or other related area
Work History:
  • Working experience in related accounting and administration works for 1 year as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft word, MS Excel, email etc;
  • Good Knowledge on Accounting System-Quick Book is preferable;
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping and cash management;
  • Good communication skill (written and spoken) in Khmer and English;
  • Experience in working with NGOs;
  • Experience in working with NGOs;
  • Strongly integrity and honesty;
  • Strong knowledge understanding purchasing procedures
  • Develop maintain positive supplier relationships
  • Effectively communicate other departments
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize, resilient and flexible;
  • Do not have any history of child abuse and SAY NO TO CHILD ABUSE/PSEA.
  • English proficiency in both speaking and writing;
