Female Preschool Teacher
Location: Borey Peng Hout Boeung Snor, Phnom Penh
Mulberry International Preschool, a Singaporean franchise preschool (ages 3 months to 6 years), is looking for a female Khmer national teacher. The preschool follows a Reggio Emilia-inspired, inquiry-based curriculum. The candidate should be willing to learn how to teach subjects other than English. Year-round training will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Khmer national who sees a future in preschool education and wants to learn a modern inquiry-based method.
The leadership team made up of the principal, vice principal and senior teachers are all international and are there to support new teachers.

- Conduct lessons aligned with curriculum themes and timetables.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans and maintain student portfolios.
- Use student naptime for lesson planning and preparation.
- Reinforce learning and monitor student progress.
- Communicate daily with parents via communication booklet.
- Ensure supervision and help in other classes if needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support events.
- Participate in school programs and outreach.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
- Essential:
- Khmer National
- University degree (not necessarily in education) from a recognized institution.
- Competent English Proficiency (IELTS 6.5+ / TOEFL 79+ / TOEIC 785+ / CEFR B2+). If you are unsure of your English proficiency level, we can provide a free assessment of your suitability for this role.
- Experience in early years teaching nursery to kindergarten or lower Primary/Elementary School.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
