The goal of the position is to lead sustainable coffee farming success by assuring farming system models/projects are designed, planned and managed effectively; relevant farms operational functions such as relevant administrations and harvesting facility are smoothy controlled; and being a representation of KOFI vision, mission, and core values to lead team members at the farm level to work with relevant stakeholders internally and externally including partners, project participants, and local authorities with the high level of professionalism etc
- Ensure farm Operational is effective managed:
- Plan and manage all farming activities including planting, pruning, harvesting, and processing coffee.
- Implement best practices for crop management, including pest control, irrigation, and fertilization.
- Ensure proper maintenance of farm equipment and machinery.
- Lead staff supervision and training:
- Hire, train, and manage a team of farm workers, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and ensuring team collaboration.
- Assure quality control at high level of standard:
- Monitor the quality of coffee at every stage, from cultivation to post-harvest processing.
- Ensure compliance with international coffee quality standards and certifications (Fair Trade, Organic, etc.).
- Efficient budget and resource management:
- Develop and manage farm budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Oversee the procurement of necessary inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and machinery.
- Manage farm inventories and supplies.
- Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship:
- Implement sustainable farming practices that promote soil health, biodiversity, and water conservation.
- Ensure the farm meets environmental regulations and aims for sustainability certifications where applicable.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Keep detailed records of farm activities, production yields, and labor costs.
- Analyze data to improve productivity and farm profitability.
- Report on farm performance to senior management or stakeholders.
- Community and Stakeholder Relations:
- Maintain good relationships with local communities, buyers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in coffee fairs, auctions, and industry events to promote farm products.

- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture related
- Farm management, coffee for 5 years is preferred
- Strong agriculture project management, value chain development, and contract farmings
- Excellent leadership and management skills, Ms. Office, and Excellent English written-spoken

Mechanical Specialist

As a Mechanical Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various types of mechanical equipment and systems. You will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to problem-solve complex mechanical issues.
- Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Troubleshoot, repair and replace parts for production and manufacturing machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Monitor and analyze mechanical devices for problems and take corrective action when necessary.
- Document type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
- Communicate mechanical issues to the team and managers to prevent future malfunctions
- Perform detailed documentation to track all machine tests, repairs and maintenance conducted
- Servicing and repairing mechanical equipment, machinery and components
- Other tasks as assigned or required.
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic, technician, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, hydraulics, pneumatics, and, often, electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in, on, and around machinery.
- Relevant technical training or certification (e.g., HVAC, millwright) is a plus.
