MIRO is a local NGO, founded in 2012.MIRO is to defend and promote human right and seek development for ethnic minority groups and Khmer Krom and contribute to their prosperity and social participation. We advocate with national and international stakeholders. Currently, MIRO focuses its activities on Khmer Krom and ethnic minority groups especially statelessness who have been living in Cambodia for many generations. Head office of MIRO bases in Phnom Penh with five provincial staffs which is the target areas. MIRO currently is looking for an exceptional candidate to lead the teamwork as below.

As Executive Director will be responsible for strategic development, managing program development, fundraising, proposal writing, and legally representative MIRO.

Duties
  • Examine and grant agreement on the expense of the organization in each fiscal year, and make decision on promotion and selection anew staffs;
  • Fundraising and proposal writing;
  • Oversees the effectiveness programme, financial procedures and track record the policies & strategic plan, and programme cycle management;
  • Develop advocacy strategy plan, global budget plan, monitoring, evaluation, and learning strategy plan;
  • Provide technical research and analyzing data by SPSS program for a new research project;
  • Lead monthly/quarterly meeting to review organization operation and projects work plan;
  • Make communication with relevance partners, stakeholders, government officers, international communities, and UN agencies;
  • Write annual and progressive reports (RBM);
Requirements
  • Master degree in Law/Social Sciences or relevant development field;
  • At least six years’ experience in a senior management with NGOs (Desired);
  • Deep understanding the situation of ethnic minority groups especially statelessness in Cambodia (pluses);
  • Thematic knowledge and experience of working with ethnic minority rights, statelessness, social justice (Desired);
  • Well-understanding process groups and knowledge areas management (Pluses);
  • Independent and creative problem-solving;
  • Unprejudiced against Khmer Krom and ethnic minority groups;
  • Analytical skills and ability to develop goals and visions;
  • Good written and oral communications skills in both Khmer and English;
  • Good social skills and experience form working in a multicultural setting.
