The Cambodia Home-Based Workers Association (CHWA) is a Membership-Based Organization (MBO) that represents home-based workers in Cambodia. Headquartered in Phnom Penh, CHWA operates in Phnom Penh, Battambang, and Siem Reap, addressing the needs of home-based and other informal workers, particularly in the areas of social protection and livelihoods.
CHWA was established under the support of HomeNet South East Asia (HNSEA), became a member of HNSEA in 2009, and joined HomeNet International (HNI) in 2021. The organization was officially registered with the Ministry of Interior (MOI) in 2024.
CHWA is currently seeking a qualified Executive Director to lead the organization. This is a full-time position based in Phnom Penh, with required travel to various provinces and cities across Cambodia. The Executive Director will report to the President of CHWA’s Board of Directors. A detailed job description is available upon request. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
