Executive Director
- Provides leadership and guidance to the YMCA’s staff;
- Represents the YMCA in the community, within the sector and at government and political levels
- Represents the organization in fulfilling its national and international YMCA obligations
- Responsible and accountable for the general policy and day-to-day management of the YMCA and for the promotion of various program activities and interests of the entire movement
- Ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of the organization’s Strategic and Business Plans
- Strategic direction and general management of the affairs as stipulated
- Develops and maintains strategic networks and partnerships with relevant organizations, to improve the YMCA's sponsorship and business opportunities.
- Ensures the YMCA has a positive customer service culture and that this is maintained in all activities of the organization.
- Through internal and external communication structures, ensures the organization’s culture and values are nurtured
- Provides timely and accurate reporting and support to the Board and its committees
- Supports and advises the Board in its role in setting strategic direction and in carrying out its legal and chartered responsibilities.
- Identifies and develops new business opportunities within the framework of the strategic plan.
- Identifies and cultivate new potential donors.
- Perform other duties assigned by Board of Directors.
- Education and Experience
- BA of Business and Administration or Education
- At least two years’ experience in Team leading, Program Management
