AUPP Liger Leadership Academy is a private K–12 school committed to developing ethical and entrepreneurial leaders. The Academy follows a unique STEEAM curriculum that integrates Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics for its secondary program, while implementing the world-class Victorian Curriculum 2.0 Framework for its primary levels.

Position Summary

Report to: Marketing Supervisor

An Event & Community Engagement Supervisor at AUPP Liger Leadership Academy fosters a welcoming environment by managing parent relations, organizing school events, and boosting community retention. The Event & Community Engagement Supervisor plan, execute, and evaluate events (e.g., open days, fundraisers), engage stakeholders, and support admissions and marketing initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning & Logistics: Coordinate on/off-campus events, including scheduling, venue setup, catering, and promotion, ensuring alignment with the school’s brand.
  • Community Engagement & Retention: Build relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders to foster a positive, inclusive environment. This includes creating initiatives that improve retention and encourage advocacy for the school.
  • Communications & Marketing: Serve as a key contact for parents and stakeholders, enhancing school reputation through effective communication and supporting admissions with events like open days.
  • Data & Evaluation: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and gather feedback via surveys or focus groups to improve engagement strategies and event success.
  • Logistical & Administrative Support: Provide hands-on help for school initiatives, including managing volunteer support, overseeing logistics for assemblies, and updating community databases.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all community initiatives and events adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and child protection protocols.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Work History:
  • Previous experience in event coordination, community development, or school-based marketing, often requiring in similar roles for 2 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficient in managing multiple, high-priority tasks in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work evenings and weekends to support school functions.
