An Event & Community Engagement Supervisor at AUPP Liger Leadership Academy fosters a welcoming environment by managing parent relations, organizing school events, and boosting community retention. The Event & Community Engagement Supervisor plan, execute, and evaluate events (e.g., open days, fundraisers), engage stakeholders, and support admissions and marketing initiatives.
- Event Planning & Logistics: Coordinate on/off-campus events, including scheduling, venue setup, catering, and promotion, ensuring alignment with the school’s brand.
- Community Engagement & Retention: Build relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders to foster a positive, inclusive environment. This includes creating initiatives that improve retention and encourage advocacy for the school.
- Communications & Marketing: Serve as a key contact for parents and stakeholders, enhancing school reputation through effective communication and supporting admissions with events like open days.
- Data & Evaluation: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and gather feedback via surveys or focus groups to improve engagement strategies and event success.
- Logistical & Administrative Support: Provide hands-on help for school initiatives, including managing volunteer support, overseeing logistics for assemblies, and updating community databases.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all community initiatives and events adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and child protection protocols.
- Previous experience in event coordination, community development, or school-based marketing, often requiring in similar roles for 2 years
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficient in managing multiple, high-priority tasks in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings and weekends to support school functions.
