WWF’s mission in Cambodia is to ensure that there will be strong participation and support from all people to conserve the country’s rich biological diversity. The WWF-Cambodia Conservation Programme that started more than 20 years ago is implemented in 2 landscapes – Eastern Plains Landscape (EPL) and Mekong Flooded Forest (MFF) Landscape and built over the following 4 pillars of interventions: (1) Securing Landscape Integrity sustaining conservation and livelihood development, (2) Freshwater and Sustainable Hydropower, (3) Protected Area Management and Conservation Research and (4) Sustainable Financing – Green Economy.

Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework, Risk Management, Quality Assurance Senior Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Location: Phnom Penh with frequent travel and extended stays in the field

We are looking for one Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework (ESSF)/Risk Management/Quality Assurance (QA) Senior Officer based in Phnom Penh. The ESSF/Risk Management/QA Senior Officer is responsible for overseeing, implementing, updating and reporting and coordinating all ESSF, Risk Management, and programs/projects QA related work for WWF- Cambodia Office to ensure compliance and best practice adherence.

The ESSF/Risk Management/QA Senior Officer is the focal point to ensure the compliances and implementation of the ESSF, Statements of Principles, Risk Management, and Quality Assurance of programs/projects and application in both landscapes’ conservation programs, including with contract partners and counterparts. The position is responsible for providing technical guidance and supporting WWF Cambodia staff to implement the standards, including providing capacity building under the guidance of the regional focal points for ESSF, Risk and QA.

The ESSF/Risk Management/QA Senior Officer works with and coordinates all ESSF and Risk management activities with RQAC, QAC, CQC, due diligence and other relevant departments as the representative of WWF-Cambodia
