Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities

General Responsibilities
Engage in ecosystem to promote VC and Cambodia’s digital ecosystem
Identify and engage potential new startup targets
Assist in new deals investment and due diligence
Mentor and assist existing portfolio companies:
Gap and needs analysis and rectification plans
Develop standard reporting
Strategy
Product development
Identify partnership opportunities
Ensure compliance with funding KPI's, identify issues early
Assist in follow on investments, including co-investments
Run shared learning workshops and programs
Coordinate engagement of Investment Analysts and fund management team
Coordinate startup engagement with LP's
Look for and develop opportunities for sponsored programs like SmartScale

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience

Seasoned entrepreneur in the digital space with ideally several experience with starting and exiting business in B2B and B2C market, within Cambodia and Southeast Asia
Emphasis with a familiarity with technology companies, but someone with a broad knowledge of Cambodian business in all industries
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Excellent analytical and preferred technical skills (AWS, programming, coding, systems architecture)
Degree in computer science or a relevant business or financial field, with additional accounting or financial analyst credentials (ACCA, CFA etc.) preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to interact and negotiate with entrepreneurs
High ethical and professional standards
