Description:

The positions will start on 01st September 2023. Teachers will have time to plan lessons and are expected to create unique lessons and projects for class. Teachers are expected to incorporate technology into their lessons.

Job description: This Position is responsible for the daily organization management, administration and operation of the English program connected with staff, parents and other stakeholders within Sunrise School for the best learning outcomes and well-being of the students.

Duties

Directly report to Deputy Director
Work in a close cooperation with Deputy Director and get fully involve on the yearly objectives, workforce plan, program need assessment and strategy development
Involve in teacher recruitment processes and ensure the quality of teacher recruitment
Regularly set up the meeting with teachers and relevant people to update on progress and resolution to any challenges and issues
Regularly do the classroom observation and evaluation and pop-up classroom visit
Monitor/assess/propose for the development of the school programs on its contents, pedagogical approach organization
Ensure the application of the school regulation for both student and teacher
Ensure the implementation of the school programs and evaluation
Support and manage the academic activities, planning and all the student evaluation such as monthly, quarterly test, entrance test, semester and final exams
Teach primary level in the morning and do the office work in afternoon
Ensure the student learning teaching quality meet the school curriculum expectations
Work with related persons to improve the school program and student academic performance
Set goals and implement and action plans to achieve higher level of teaching and learning outcome
Lead, supervise manage academic team members to achieve school goals for student learning teaching quality
Supervise, review and provide feedback to improve the lesson plans, teaching methodology and student learning
Assist students to set goals and improve the academic performance
Develop training plans and evaluation procedure to improve academic team competency and performance
Review Progress Reports for compliance and consistency English Program
Meet with parents to discuss about student academic as well other concerns
Maintain student academic records in accordance with regulatory and school requirements
Attend and conduct educational trainings and conferences as needed
Attend and plan school events as required by the campus manager

Requirements

Native English Speaker
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
Master degree is a plus
Minimum of 3-year experience in education field preferred
Experience international school is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication in English
Experience managing a team is a plus
Ability to work well under tight deadlines and deliver effective result
Desire to learn and overcome new challenges
Able to commit to 1-year contract.
