WWF’s mission in Cambodia is to ensure that there will be strong participation and support from all people to conserve the country’s rich biological diversity. The WWF-Cambodia Conservation Programme that started more than 20 years ago is implemented in 2 landscapes – Eastern Plains Landscape (EPL) and Mekong Flooded Forest (MFF) Landscape and built over the following 4 pillars of interventions: (1) Securing Landscape Integrity sustaining conservation and livelihood development, (2) Freshwater and Sustainable Hydropower, (3) Protected Area Management and Conservation Research and (4) Sustainable Financing – Green Economy.

Position Summary

We are looking for one Energy and Water Project Manager to be based in Phnom Penh. The Energy and Water Project Manager leads the development, implementation and growth of WWF Cambodia's energy and water stewardship. Working closely with the Conservation Programme Director, the position is responsible for delivering high quality projects, identifying new opportunities, building partnerships, supporting resource mobilisation efforts and representing WWF Cambodia in relevant technical and policy forums. The position provides technical leadership across assigned projects and contributes to WWF Cambodia's broader climate resilience and conservation objectives.

The Water and Energy Project Manager manages workstream particularly focusing on water resources and energy efficiency, by managing collaborative projects with partners like WaterAid and the Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC), as well as overseeing a programme on solar PV skills. The role holder will engage stakeholders from government and industry, ensure effective project administration and reporting, and leading technical initiatives, including studies and training on energy and water stewardship.
