We are changing the way support is provided to people by giving them the resources, training and mentoring so that they can find a job they love. This is your opportunity to support learning on a range of exciting topics such as communications, team work and creativity. You’ll be engaging with employers and supporting them to find job seekers who match with their vacancies. You’ll also be working together with more than 300 multicultural Friends’ team members and partners across Southeast Asia.

- Managing a team of motivated employment officers and soft-skills trainers
- Keeping track of activities, monitoring the budget and preparing reports
- Building young people's skills through facilitating training courses and providing coaching support
- Designing and delivering training sessions skills development

- Marketing and selling our employment service to other employers

By having their own business they can take care of themselves and their family. You might be working with someone who wants to set up a food business, a Mechanic shop, a small farm etc. This is your opportunity to join our Employment team and work with young people and adults so they can build their futures! You’ll also be working together with a multicultural Friends’ teams and partners across Southeast Asia. These teams are consisted of social workers, teachers, business experts, accountants, HR’s and many others!

- Working with people who have ideas to start their business or a farm (experience in agriculture is welcome!)
- Designing fun and creative activities to motivate others to become entrepreneurs
- Building people's skills that they need to be entrepreneurs
- Sharing knowledge on topics such as business plans, money management or customer service
- Supporting others to make research and find customers for their business
- Help entrepreneurs to promote their businesses on social media
- Connect other businesses, experts, agencies and create a community for business owners
- Keeping up to date with market trends, so that you can identify new opportunities for young people to generate income with a business, in the right local business market context in their community.
English Teacher
Native Khmer Speaker
Do you feel stuck in a routine job? Are you experienced in teaching English? Do you feel excited about working with young people and adults who are students at our vocational training?
If you answered ‘yes’ then you may just be the person we need.
We are looking for an English Teacher to design fun and creative lessons for students who are attending one of our vocational training (Barber, Mechanic, Beauty Salon etc.). We will need you to tailor the classes based on the students’ needs and boost their chances for finding employment or starting their own enterprise! You will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary Friends team consisted of other Social Workers, Teachers, Hospitality Trainers, Project Officers, Technical Advisors, Employment Workers, HR/Finance/Admin teams etc. - more than 300 multicultural Friends’ team members across Southeast Asia.

- Providing English classes adapted to each skill of the Vocational Training Centre (Cook, Hair Cut, Sewing, Mechanic Motor, and Beauty Salon)
- Managing English class activities and ensure that all the educational materials are adequate for teaching
- Preparing the lesson for teaching to different groups of students (Cook, Hair Cut, Sewing, Mechanic Motor, and Beauty Salon).
- Supporting case managers with updating the case information needed to make sure the case is running well for individuals
- Evaluating students when they graduate their vocational training skills
- Keeping track and record of activities, monitoring and preparing reports to the manager
