Introduction:

We are excited to welcome a passionate, dedicated professional to our team as an Early Years Teacher Assistant. We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual who brings warmth, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children. The ideal candidate will support the Early Years Teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. She will assist in daily classroom activities, support children’s individual learning needs, and help promote confidence, curiosity, and independence in our young learners. A growth mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a willingness to actively contribute to the school community will make her an invaluable member of our Early Years team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in preparing materials and delivering daily lessons and activities.
  • Assist with classroom setup, supervision, and play (indoor and outdoor).
  • Provide individual and small-group support to children.
  • Assist with personal care routines (toileting, handwashing, snack, and nap time).
  • Promote positive behavior, social skills, and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure children’s safety and follow safeguarding policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborate with staff, communicate professionally with parents, and attend meetings/training.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • High School Diploma, fresh graduate, or certificate in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • Experience working with children aged 2–4 years.
  • Good communication skills in English and Khmer.
  • Basic knowledge of child development.
Soft Skills
  • Patient, caring, and team-oriented.
  • Warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic.
  • Responsible and reliable.
  • Organized and creative.
  • Passionate about early childhood education.
