Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities:
  •  Plans and delivers play-based, inquiry-led, developmentally appropriate lessons.
  • Integrates literacy, numeracy, and early science through hands-on activities.
  • Creates a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Encourages positive behavior using empathy and restorative practices.
  • Prioritizes student well-being and implements safeguarding policies.
  • Uses assessment tools to track student progress and reflects on teaching practices.
  • Collaborates effectively with management team, teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, punctuality, and upholds school conduct standards.
  • Commits to ongoing professional development and supports the school’s mission.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Fluent is required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Has an understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate practices.
  • Has the ability to implement engaging, child-centered teaching methods.
  • Experience designing and delivering lessons aligned with the Oxford International Curriculum (or similar frameworks).
  • Capable of creating a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning space.
  • Strong commitment to student safety and emotional security; knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
  • Works effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leadership.
  • Possesses an eagerness to engage in continuous learning and growth in early childhood education.
